I've never been in the financial position to afford lipo. Watching it on makeover shows, it appears unnecessarily violent with all that stabbing, and I always imagined it caused severe pain. Though it may be something I would have considered later in life, now I know better. Thanks for posting this great info!

I find that the later I start drinking, the less I'll drink (and the less bad cravings I end up trying to satisfy!) If you are fitness-minded, active on MFP, and enjoy the finer things in life (i.e WINE, chocolate, etc.) -- please add me! Looking for MFP friends to encourage and support mutually. I'm a Florida girl who is…

A hearty balance of protein, fiber, and healthy carbs is your best bet. I enjoy a large egg scrambled with a bit of milk, sauteed with plenty of fresh herbs and veggies, a vegetarian sausage patty, and some grits. Oatmeal prepared with coconut milk, with fresh fruit on top is yummy, filling, and nutritious. Again, add…

Hello all! I'm Lux and I'm from Brevard County, Central Florida. I'm currently doing round one of the Insanity program. In the past I did CrossFit, and have also been a runner. Having support and encouragement is important to me and I'm trying to add friends who are like-minded. I would love to help motivate you! ( =

Like the others said... don't watch the scale. If you lose pounds it will be later on (second month). I am on week 3 and haven't lost a pound! However I see definition that wasn't there before in my tummy, arms, and thighs. My clothes are a little more comfy (when they were tight before) and people around me are noticing a…

@sweetlilsonny @zeyonce216 is right - Insanity is not just about weight loss (though, from my research, I've found that any weight loss typically occurs in month 2), it is about building muscle (which adds to your metabolic rate and consequently results in your burning more calories even while sedentary!) I haven't lost a…

@maylene1853 My suggestion is to stop at each exercise when you have reached your max. (If I realize there is plenty more time on the clock, I will try a second set of reps of said exercise.) Your main goal should be to complete the entire video. Modifications are welcomed, as well as moderate rests. You don't want to…

@AmyAustin90 You don't need to put the Insanity "down", just modify the workouts. My mom and I do the workouts together and she has chronic knee/back issues. She adjusts some of the jumping movements and also does "girl" push-ups (on your knees) when she can't handle the regular ones. You can do it!

Hey, I'm Lux. I live in Brevard County on the Space Coast. People who log in to MFP often would be preferred as friends, I am looking for mutual support & encouragement.

I'm from the Space Coast (Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, Titusville area). I am trying to make more friends here for additional (mutual) support & encouragement. My goals are more about trying to build muscle and gain tone & definition more than lose weight. I also just began the Insanity DVDs. Please add me as a friend,…
