LOVE IT! I have some 18s that are THISCLOSE to fitting right now (I started at a 24). It's such a great feeling to be able to pull out those old clothes again, and know that they're not the ones going to goodwill this time!!! WIN!

I do like broccoli and quinoa, I just burn out on things quickly, I need to rotate foods frequently. They were just an example  "It's important to me to enjoy my food ALL the time, not only when I'm having a treat." THIS. I like this!

"My case is not because I crave junk. It's because I crave scones. Also, if I've done a day of heavy cardio, I would kill for carbs. And we don't want any killing." *holds out scone, hides knives*

Right now I do one "cheat day" a month. It helps me mentally (I think?). It takes away the "taboo" of really bad-for-you food. Maybe it's because I'm still getting started, and I am still learning how to do things, but I feel a lot better knowing that there are still greasy bacon cheeseburgers with fries to be enjoyed…

I visited Disney World in 2011 as a size 22/24, and I did not come across a single ride that I could not "fit". One or two may have been tightish, (mostly due to my bust, I'm rather full-busted) but overall I had a very good experience. DH did have a ride or two that were questionable (needing extra assistance to get…

About 10 years ago I did a one of the "Hollywood" diets. Nothing but their special "juice" (and use the word "juice" *very* loosely) for 48 hours. I'm sure I lost a lot of water weight, which of course came right back within days. All I had wanted was to look cuter in a dress that I had bought to wear on a date to a…

I had a day (this last Thursday, as a matter of fact) that I went over by 1398 calories. In my defense, it was my "cheat day" (I do this once monthly) I still track everything, but I will eat whatever I want. It was a glorious day with a Bacon BBQ Cheeseburger, French Fries, Pop, and a Dairy Queen Blizzard at the end.…

Find a healthier version of what you like to snack on, and leave yourself some wiggle room for it, just in case you decide to indulge. For example, my downfall is crunchy, salty foods :blushing: so when the snacking demon within emerges, I will portion out some lightly salted roasted almonds, some air popped popcorn, or…

"If one way of losing weight worked for everyone, we'd all be thin." THIS. exactly this!

regarding hunger Some days, I also find that about 2-3 hours after breakfast I am somehow ravenous, no matter what, or how much, I have eaten. It's almost as if my breakfast has kicked my metabolism into super overdrive. Water is a great place to start, but if that does not work, you may want to to try adding a small…

I am taking Phentermine under the supervision of my physician. (it is an RX only medication, classified as a controlled substance by the DEA) I am taking it for assistance with appetite control. I am using it while I "re-learn" how to eat. I am slowly changing my diet to one that is based around more clean eating. This…

This thread is currently only 8 pages long, not 12 as promised by the OP. I feel disappointed and betrayed by this LIE. It looks like Dr. Oz is the only one I can trust after all.

Never trust a croissant that looks at you funny. You did what had to be done. I would have done the same.

This happens to me, too! Sometimes your body is telling you that it's time to eat, but for some reason, all of your options seem seriously unappetizing. It's most common for me at breakfast, which is the worst possible time to skip calories! I think in this situation, if it is a mealtime, and you know you have to eat…
