Duly noted.

Do you call it 'pie'? Oh please tell me you do..
-
Very good yes, I hadn't thought of that angle, I just like to shove it in my gob as fast as possible. Hands are the faster pizza delivery system.
-
So they are used as a kind of medical aid? In an emergency pizza situation? I take it the pizza is medicinal in those cases?
-
I don't esp care, I just feel that pizza doesn't get enough attention, it's not a serious question that is actually worrying me in any way..
-
Yes see, its 'hand food' like burgers.
-
A good point well said.
-
Thanks for the suggestions.
-
Amen to that!

This stuff looks like it will give me a heart attack!

I book a massage or a pamper session, you can get good deals on groupon etc It really depends on what kind of things you like. You could put money in a jar for every 1lb you lose. Every time I resist the urge to order a pizza or go for some other junk food I put money in the jar for that too. I bought myself a tablet and a…

LOL! Maybe now we are getting to the truth of the matter..

Just to clarify :I didn't write this, It is an article from a newspaper that I thought people may find interesting.....
-
I agree, I'm not doing this for anyone else and don't care what other people think about it. I didn't care what other people thought when I was over weight and unfit either. But it can change the dynamics between people esp as we tend to fit into a certain role whether we want to or not
-
Yes I think that's true. I'm not a guy but I used to be the fat, unfit friend and people where happy to be judgmental and patronizing in relation to my eating habits and sedentary lifestyle and it made them feel better about themselves. Now Iv'e lost 56lb and have stuck to a healthy lifestyle for the past 2 years, it has…

OMG! BlueBombers I love your profile pic! Seriously, its love!

Use digital scales and weigh everything you can. Be honest with your logging; not logging everything is just cheating yourself. There is no good or bad food, its just food. Set realistic goals and accept you are in it for the long haul; its not a diet its a lifestyle change. Don't compare your self to others, everybody's…

Cardio!Cardio!Cardio!

It also interesting as they are only talking about 150 mins of moderate exercise a week, its really not much but has a big impact

I'm training for Tough Mudder next year. Eck. I'm the worse at climbing over stuff, jumping off stuff, confined spaces etc so its the biggest thing I've ever aimed to do.
-
I'm child free by choice. I've also been told I will change my mind, that I was too young to know that, that one day I'll meet the right man etc I'm now nearly 40 and have been married and still have chosen not to have children. I have thought about this a lot but people assume I haven't or I'm just a selfish, weird, child…

Yeah, what they said.

I weigh myself maybe once a month if that, I just found weighing myself all the time was starting to drive me crazy. I'm consistently losing weight quite slowly now esp as I'm now lifting. But my body is changing all the time and I've just gone down a dress size. Every couple of months or so I use one of those scales that…

I once forgot my trainers for a Body Attack class and had to do it in boots ( it was winter) I'm now wondering if there is post somewhere about that....
-
Sooo you've been thinking about Daryl's balls then...
-
I stated lifting 12 weeks ago and about 4 weeks ago the trainer who devised my programme suggested I increase my calories (eating good quality nutritious food) as I was really struggling with a lack of energy he told me to try for 2 weeks and see if it made a difference. I was very worried about gaining weight but I…

I would also suggest doing body weight exercises such as push ups, planks, pull ups etc as well If that sounds daunting there are lots of different options.
-
You just need to loose body fat and lifting weights will strengthen your core.
-
Yes I don't think it is superior either. It depends on why you are lifting, different types of lifting will give you different results. But its all good at the end of the day, the main thing is that its always a challenge.
