I started the shred this past week. I'll be on Day 3 tonight too! It's hard but seeing the before and after pics on MFP really motivate me to continue. Took pics (I agree... yuck!) and measurements. So ready for the after pictures!

When I'm on my period I tend to gain weight also. Since I know it comes off if I keep working at it, I try to not get discouraged. I don't weigh myself for a week or so and make sure to not overeat even if I'm having cravings.

I agree with the previous poster... Guys really don't pick up on hints very well. If my husband were doing that to me I would flat out tell him I don't want to talk to him unless he has something nice and supportive to say. Maybe he's uncomfortable with your weight loss.
