Well so far I lost the amount of red meat an American eats in a year. (Like I didn't blow that curve anyway) On my way to dropping two bloodhounds. :)

Pick 3 only????? Makes it tough but here goes, 1) Murder Song by S.O.T.E. 2) Kick *kitten* by Egypt Central 3) Leave Home by The Chemical Brothers They all have beats that make pushing just a little harder for a little farther a little easier. :glasses:

As it has been said, a 6 minute mile and 16 minute mile are still a mile. And, as long as you're moving around the track you are lapping all the potatoes still on their couches! Go for it!!

Nice ink and a great loss. Really inspirational!!

Then add me. I'm rude, sarcastic and an unrepentant smart-alec but I will be there to celebrate your victories with you and a straight-shooter who will call you on your BS if you try to quit on yourself. Let's do this.

If you have been working this hard at it then it is a GREAT victory! Congratulations and keep up the awesome work you've been doing!!!

Haters gonna hate, and potaters gonna potate. Point is, who cares? If people are more interested in you then there is something lacking for them. Screw what anybody thinks about you but you. "Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events, great minds discuss ideas." Be great!! :glasses:

Sounds awesome! Making some tonight!!

I go for hard-boiled eggs also. Either by themselves or sliced on a salad. Good protein boost.

That was hilarious!!! I needed that on a Monday morning! Thank you. =)

Thank you all for the input!! I have no expectation to do this long term but I came in with a goal loss of 220 lbs, almost 50% of my SW. I think you have all hit great points. Yes I am comfortable at these levels for now. No, I don't see this as a long term option. I know I will probably have to double this intake to…

It's on the table only because I've lost weight before but failed to keep it off. However, that being said, this round FEELS different. I'm losing faster, exercising more and more importantly ENJOYING it! I haven't written surgery off but if I can hit goal and find a healthy balance to maintain then I would definitely…

I started with a goal to lose 220 lbs. I'm down 100 in 15 weeks and it's been all diet changes. I could use some advice too from anyone who's lost and then kept it off. From what I've seen, heard, read, losing will be much easier than maintaining. Good luck to you and everyone else here. We rock!! :smokin:

True. I've never climbed Mt Fuji.

I've been there too. I recently got on program trying to lose 220 lbs total. I'm down 50 in 8 weeks and still wonder if I could have done better or tried something else. I think it is just our anticipation. Like so many other people I know who aren't happy about their weight, I spent a lot of time talking about what I…

Hey there! Relatively new here myself and in for the long haul. I'm down 30 of the 220 lbs I want to lose so I'm not going anywhere for awhile. (But keep the Snickers) Feel free to add me for some support and encouragement.
-
Yup. At 6'6" I can reach most shelves. LOL Maybe that's why I'm on a diet now???

My cousin married Justin Chambers (Greys Anatomy) if that counts.

I know I am. I've done the same up and down with dieting before. It seems like the one sure key to my failure is success! Once I start seeing feeling improvements I slack off and lose all the ground I gained. And then I'm sure everyone around, just like I am, is thinking "Oh. He failed again? Surprise surprise." This time…

Great job!! You lnow what they say, a 6 minute mile and a 16 minute mile are both a mile.

Hi! I'm new here myself and I am here to lose a whole you! I'd be happy to offer some encouragement and support. Feel free to add me!

I'm new here myself. Feel free to add me.

I am starting out way, way, wayyy overweight myself and it's not because I don't like food. I found that starting out here and tracking my intake helped me start considering if I really wanted another serving of the food I'm eating. When you can actually see the numbers and watch them climb it helps you stay more focused…

As a newbie I'm up for some support. I'm grumpy, sarcastic and prone to innocuous movie references but if that's ok I am extremely supportive. I have a LOT of weight to lose so, I'll be in this for the long haul. Feel free to add me.
