I wouldn't have started that program in the first place. The word "diet" breaks down to the word "die" with a "t" on the end. I live a lifestyle. I EAT, LOTS!! I workout, sometimes LOTS, sometimes I scale it back (no pun intended!). You need to start working up to eating within a normal range for you age, height & activity…

I think my diary is open to all to view, feel free to peruse it for ideas  Just PM me with any questions (or friend me if you like to see what I do for more ideas)

I'll prob do some baked sweet potatoes, a veggie stir-fry & fruit cobbler to take to my Mum's. Everyone there makes fun of my whole foods plant-based lifestyle, but yet they all eat what I make & love it! lol!. Best for veggie stir fry: slice zucchini & squash lengthwise into thin strips, slice yellow wax & green beans…

Fantastic accomplishment!! I've had my own trials & tribulations, was told I wouldn't ever walk without a limp and would be in perpetual pain for the rest of my life unless I had surgery. That was not an option to me when they gave me odds of 50/50 for living the rest of my life in a wheel chair. I found ways to workout…

Clean eating, lifting weights, light cardio, yoga & pilates got me where you see in my profile pic. I wasn't bad before, but I completely revamped my food & exercise & in 4 weeks lost 5 lbs but clothes that fit me when I weighed almost 10lbs less are actually now too big. Something as simple as adding in yoga or pilates…

I don't have boobs any more, they've turned into pecks... does this mean I'm more intelligent now... ???

Switch what you consider Cool & Sexy..

Lately it's been every day, but as soon as my weekends free up, I'll be prepping & cooking as much as I can in one day so we can both "grab & go" with my own fast food (home cooked, preportioned out & SUPER healthy!). My Husband is away from home during the week, but I send him off with healthy snacks & ready made…

I've been accused of worse...

Do it the fun way: play with your food! I recently switched to a complete whole foods plant based diet & am LOVING just playing with food ideas. Most recipes can be converted, but I enjoy coming up with my own. Just pick a few ingredients & see what mixes. (I.E, rice - cook a big pot & keep in fridge for easy recipe mixes…

Personally I avoid soy & anything with it as it affects my hormone levels & actually caused me to gain weight (thicken up fat cells). I eat mostly a whole foods plant based diet & I get plenty of protein & all my other macro's from combining the right foods together. Since I went totally "clean" 4 weeks ago, I've added…

Great bicep & good forearms! I'm not a gymnast, but I love my muscles, or what is starting to show of them! I've always been a "thick" child, grew into a thick teen & thick young adult (thanx to swimming, ballet & karate as a kid). Now I'm middle-aged and getting muscles that pop and guys that oogle me at the gym - lol!…

If I can't make it to the gym I workout at home. Life is busy and there are always options. For me, I wake up a little earlier each AM to workout at home (at least 30 mins) before getting ready for work. This way if something happens & I can't get to the gym, I still got a workout in (yes, most days I do get my AM/PM burns…

Circuit Training would be your best bet.

Typically Metal; mostly speed, thrash & power. Although I've got some Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, some other more radio-friendly tunes & for some odd reason an Usher song (no clue what it is, but it's a good cardio beat!)

   Seriously, I have a 1/2 scoop protein powder & water in the AM just before I workout at home, then get ready for work & follow what you basically do: cup of decaf coffee with raw cacao powder, cinnamon & flax milk on the way in then true bfast while I start my day at work. Lately, I've been missing…

When I'm feeling saucy, a little flax oil & a LOT of apple cider vinegar  Usually I have avo which is a dressing in its self. One of my more recent favs (or revisitied fav from childhood), slice up radishes - thin or thick to personal taste - put in bowl with vinegar (apple cider is my personal fav), let sit for at…

We could help more seeing your diary & what you're consuming during the day prior to working out. Your body may be sending you the warning signals that it is not getting what it needs to be at its optimum performance, hence, extreme hunger after working out (also, depending on the intensity of the workouts).

Large lettuce leaf works, or my favorite, use a large portabella mushroom cap. Pull out the stem, you can chop or cut into the "meat" of the mushroom, pile or layer your stuff in there & maybe toast for a few in an oven, and voile! Healthy, delicious, low cal, low carb & great fiber!! GF breads can be a lower cal option…

My mouse just locked up from attempting to scroll thru the gibberish... now I'll have to perpetually hit the up & down arrows to get anywhere... feeling as antiquated as if I'd just lost my modem on a dial-up connection.

<-- Current as of this week. No before pics - stayed away from camera's lest I break them... I have a leg pic in my profile, just discovered yesterday that they are more cut than they were 2 months ago when I took that pic but too afraid to post as I was in my undies... (DOH!) (PS - amazing results & reinforcement that…

That's the gist. Also, start with light weight shallow squats & work deeper as time goes by. As a suggestion, add in yoga or pilates at least once a week to help with stretching & flexibility; you will find that many weight training exercises become more fluid. Since I added yoga back in to my routines, my limits have been…

Easy to keep it in check if you make your own food from wholesome, single ingredient foods. I.E. rice, fresh squash, fresh kale, fresh tomatoes & a little flax oil if needs (can even use plain frozen veggies if can't keep fresh). My sodium usually is around 600-1000, sometimes up to 1400 on the rare occasion. Eat healthy,…

Funny story... this is mostly true. You still do need to exercise, combining strength, stretching & cardio, though once I started to eat "clean", my stomach has shown the biggest difference. I have a strong core from the varying workouts I do, but I thought my abs would forever be covered by fat as I used to be well over…

I'm just going to say this once. If you are not exercising & only changing caloric intake what you are losing is MUSCLE, not body fat.

You don't have to show an allergic reaction to be allergic or intollerant to foods. I have Celiac's and am also lactose & soy intollerant. I also need to avoid artificial & processed sugars. I've been slowly cutting out the "junk" and doing a LOT better. Tonight I ate some salsa as I've been craving it for a while, last…

Walking is good cardio. Though please don't use the excuse of asthma causing the challenge: I have asthma, I've built up my endurance & stamina & lungs with exercise (yes it took years, but worth every moment to not have have to rely on an inhaler!). Some days are more difficult than others depending on nature, but they're…

Cardio IS needed, it's what keeps your organs inside you functioning as much as the nutrients you put inside you. However, every body is different & some may need more or less cardio. I'll use my Baby Sis as an example again: she runs, does Jillian Michaels circuit-type training and that's what works for her. If I do that…
