Well, I haven't really lost too much weight, so congrats on your loss!!, but I've definitely always been bigger (6ft AND obese). Because of that, I've always felt out of place and not very "womanly," so what I've had to do is fake it. I always try to look presentable/dress well and pretend that I exude the confidence that…

Ya learn something new every day. ;)

I have so many stories just like yours, it's crazy. They really do stick with. I totally agree with your last paragraph with being more aware of what we say and being more compassionate.

Note you said prettier, while she said pretty. There's a difference and why is it someone else's job to tell you that. I'm sure most of us are thinking that we'd be more attractive if we lost weight, but I bet there's also some of us who think we can also be attractive when we're also overweight.
-
People actually SAID that to you?! What the HECK. The nerve of some people. Honestly, it's one thing to think it...it's another to actually say it to someone's face.

QFP.
-
True. I get both.

I feel ya! I got that same thing from my parents as well! It's crazy...even a few times they told me that I was more strikingly beautiful than my sister (who is teeny tiny), but that my weight was in the way of people noticing. Errr...what? Why would you compare us?
-
hahaha. I wouldn't have guts to respond like that, Jennms!
-
I just kinda am like...can't you be "pretty" "attractive" WHATEVER...and still be overweight, why does it have to be one or the other?
-
I always do, but that's because I tend to graze. I know grazing is not the best, but I at least want to hold myself accountable for what I've eaten.

On the first few dates, I always offer to pay for my portion and sincerely would if they said okay. I've found that most men want to pay for the first few dates so if it's progressed, I'll just grab the bill before they can say anything!

Feel free to add me! I'm 6ft and have an ultimate goal weight of 185.
-
Just turned 23 in April. Feel free to add!
-
I don't have too much to add, except I feel the EXACT same way you do on the matter.
-
Chicken breast down...okay, I'll try the workout again in an hour or so.
-
For now, I've decided to try and lose the weight without taking Qsymia, but I wish you all good luck and will still be reading up on this message board! :)
-
Just turned 23 in April. Y'all feel free to add me! :)

Thanks for the responses! I sort of just sustained a tailbone injury and I'm having to modify a few more things, so I think I might stick to each level for two weeks. BUT I did 30 knee pushups today. Pretty proud as I haven't been able to do that in YEARS...or maybe ever?
-
Haha at some of your response. I have my profile set for a 1.5 lbs a week loss, but I figured I was overreacting. Thank you for the reassurance!
-
Hi all. I have [finally] just put my subscription in, so I'll hopefully have it within the next few days? I was wondering if you all could update me on how it's been for you on Qsymia. Thanks!

I'm 6ft, so I usually stick to something 3" (heels) or less (usually in wedge form. I have been known to wear 4" heels, but not usually when I'm going out to the bars.

Just turned 23 and I'm 6feet. Nice to see so many tall women on here!

I'm 6ft, but I'd like to maybe see 180? I honestly can't even recall what it would be like at that weight.
