Those are the BEST meat sticks! We always have a bag in the house. All natural too.

colby jack cheese sticks...I used to microwave these for 10 sec & squeeze TB Fire sauce over them & eat w/ a spoon for a snack. Tastes like I ran to the border.

Morning rowing machine before work, lunch walks when weather permits. Try to get in at least one day of exercise on the weekend.

Who is making their own from fresh, anyone buy frozen? The wok is great for cauli rice! Definitely a HOT wok or fry pan is the way to go. I gave up on grating my own fresh once the bags were available in the freezer section, less messy for me. I made it as a cajun side with blackened fish, adding celery, onion , bell…

(apologies if I've posted this before...I don't see it in the group) I had a bad craving for Malnati's in Chicago one night and then this happened... Lou Malnati Chicago-Style Crustless Pizza 1.75# Sweet Italian Sausage 1/2# Sliced Mozzarella – I got mine pre-sliced from deli counter 12.3 oz Jar DeLallo Margherita-Style…

We have an amazing old Jewish deli nearby, where I get my lox. Smoked salmon would work as well and probably easier to find at the grocer. I've made it on low carb wraps in the past too, avoiding the bagel...

Lox & cream cheese on English cucumber with a slice of tomato and capers...seasoned the cream cheese with "everything bagel" toppings, also fresh shallot and dill.

the plain are great w/ french onion chip dip...low carb as well

Dates stuffed w/ goat cheese, wrapped in bacon are pretty rad. 425f oven, 10-15 min or until bacon is crispy.

Figured out what to do w/ that silly buffalo cauli...

Along with the above suggestions, mini scrambled egg "quiches" made in muffin tins are easy to grab too, add meat & cheese if desired. I've recently found Duke's sausage sticks for snacks too, all natural. Less sodium than jerky too. Very tasty.

sliced avocado, tomato and bacon tacos with a squirt of wasabi sauce...I'll make scrambled egg "crepes" and use them as the tortillas for breakfast, but wraps or flour tortillas are good too.

It sounds like you are overeating. If someone tells you that you do not need to count calories while keto, don't listen to them. You don't need that kind of sabotage in your life. You still have to count your calories, regardless of the diet you are on. Are you weighing and logging your food? And no, you didn't build any…

I made curry chicken fried (cauli) rice last week to satisfy that craving & I will definitely be making it again. Mixed my own curry seasoning too. A serving of the cauli-rice added 4 g carbs. It was a dry curry, but a bit of heavy cream or a spoon of greek yogurt would make it creamy if that's what you are craving.…

'Cado Salad! Large dice avocado with equal part diced tomato. Add one thinly sliced green onion and a tablespoon of chopped cilantro (optional, if you really hate it). Shake together the juice of a lime, equal part (extra light tasting olive) oil, pinch of salt, pepper, cumin. Toss all together. Does not suck. Good with a…

a simple "blood test" is not a glucose tolerance screen and wouldn't be representative of a diabetic test. but anyway, I hope you get the answer you want.
-
Yeah, you would know if you've had it done, it's hours long. I had it done years ago due to dizziness and my father is diabetic. to quote endocrineweb, "The oral glucose tolerance test is conducted by measuring blood glucose levels 5 times over a period of 3 hours. In a person without diabetes, the glucose levels in the…

have you been tested?
-
^ this points to it being a blood sugar issue. Have you ever had a blood glucose tolerance screen? May want to schedule yourself for a physical with your physician and mention your dizziness along with diet.
-
low blood sugar & dehydration can cause dizziness.

eat the whole egg!

anytime the Pats are in the superbowl, it's my excuse to make New England clam chowder...I don't make it very often, but I LOVE IT. My other half can take the rest to work next week, one bowl for me & I'm done...I think

I eat sashimi as well, no need for rice

I'm a sucker for a good tuna noodle casserole too. Would mini chicken pot pies fit in well? Maybe indiviual pies in mini muffin tins (chicken pot tarts? lol).

I don't know how simple you make your bacon wrapped dates, but I stuff mine w/ goat cheese & drizzle with a chocolate balsamic glaze when they come out of the oven. Sounds like a blast!

Drink plenty of water, as mentioned...hydration

The chocolate chip cookie recipe on the back of the Bob's Red Mill almond meal bag is very good. I google to find the recipe as needed.

I'd be concerned w/ digestive issues eating that many carbs all at once after keto (it would go right through me or cause distress in my guts), esp since the run is tomorrow. I would've started a couple days ago gradually, or maybe start out eating them slow tonight & see how it goes. Good luck w/ the run!
