The beginning might not be so hard to cram more workouts in, but I would make sure to stretch really well and not push yourself too hard. Run at a pace that almost feels too slow and see what it does. Once you get to week 5-6 you have longer runs and then you'll want a few rest days. I'm not as experienced as others, so I…

Congratulations! :) :) :) He's super precious and a keeper at that! Enjoy your time with baby!!

We have a fridge and microwave so typically I bring left overs, sandwiches or salads and then yogurt, fruit, rice cakes, bell pepper strips, carrots, diet coke:happy: A lot of times, I'll put sandwiches on the artisan flatbread or earthgrain buns which are 100 calories. Very yummy!

I find that it happens to me most once I've let myself get out of routine. If I write it in my schedule to exercise and verbally tell people what my plans are, I'm more likely going to be held accountable for my actions. It's ok to have a treat now and then, but we need to remember those habits that got us here in the…

Wow! Very interesting. Thanks for posting. I always get the grilled chicken sandwich!

I love zumba! It's my absolute favorite. Although, I would have to say, I'm growing very fond of running. I've been super busy though and my workouts are starting to lag behind, so I'm hoping to pump up the intensity here this week!

We can't afford personal training sessions right now, but it would definitely be something I would take advantage of if I did. I just need accountability. So besides being accountable, I'd have someone who has lots of experience working for me! If you have the ability to utilize one, I'd say go for it!

Love it! It's my favorite workout!

Way to go themommie! That's a great NSV! And props to you for joining a gym! That workout plan sounds doable and realistic! Way to go!

I'm not going to say anything is impossible, but because there are so many factors that go into losing weight, I'd say to aim for smaller goals to start out with. I've been trying to lose weight for over a year and only have lost 9 pounds because my body fat was so high to begin with. However, I've had friends lose 60…

Well, I've been so busy I haven't even had time to enjoy the wonderful weather. However, we live in Iowa where the weather can drastically change at any given moment. When it's a high temp day, chances are the wind is out of control like it was today. We've enjoyed grilling so far and I hope to start running outside. I'm…

Wake up people!!!! Here's a QOTD: What have you been doing to enjoy this new spring weather?

I wish I could help, but I absolutely HATE FF Ranch. Kraft would probably be the best, but I just put less of the real stuff on and call it a done deal. :S

I don't have the display, so when I plug it in you just have to go to Calories burned and then I move the shaded area over the time that I worked out. You should see the time at the top. Does that make sense? It should give you all that information. If you have questions, feel free to message me.

Hmm....We typically don't celebrate St. Patty's Day, but this year a good friend of mine is having a get together this weekend to celebrate. One of her good friends used to be engaged to a guy that lived in Ireland, and passed off a lot of traditions/customs to my friend. She always tries something new. I am actually 100%…

Bahaha! I wonder. :)

QOTD: A 3 year old puggle ( a mix between a pug and a beagle) named Mauer. Bark of a beagle and the face of a puggle. Gets old real quickly. Ugh.

QOTD: Well, I'm not giving up anything for Lent because I'll forget that i gave it up, BUT I am going to work harder at achieving my goals, not that it has anything to do with Lent, but you know! I thought about Diet Coke, but I. Just. Can't.

Have you ever seen the really skinny person who eats like CRAP but is still a bean pole? That would be my husband. One weekend he consumed an average of 12000 calories a day and still lost a pound. You will lose weight as long as your calories in are lower than your calories out. Eating high fatty foods excessively,…

When I started C25k, I was only watching tv as I ran. It became daunting and I figured out I needed to listen to music to pass the time faster. I began to make it a competition with myself. At first, I couldn't look at the time until I had listened to 2 songs, then 5, and so on. I was so focused on the music that I didn't…

Oh man. I have a bucket list. Some include: Italy, Spain, Australia, Disney World, California, Maine, Hawaii, and the list goes on!

I LOVE IT! It's by far my favorite form of exercise, and I would do it everyday if I could. Just keep moving. Don't worry if you don't know the moves right away! It's a lot of dance, hip shaking, fast movement. You'll love it!

The weekends are always quiet, so I'll try and think of a question. I found this off a blog so it is just that--random. QOTD: If you had to choose to not ever wash your bed sheets again or not wash your bath towel ever again, which would you rather not wash?

QOTD:What was your favorite toy as a child? Hmmm....I don't know if I had just one favorite toy, but my mom's family owns a furniture store, and when we were younger, we'd always get the big boxes they were throwing out. They would paint them and make them into different things like a fire station, a lemonade stand, a…

QOTD: Hmmm....I get many things from my mom. Her selflessness, her stubbornness, her love, etcf. I get my Type B personality from my dad. It takes a lot to get me worked up. I'm pretty flexible like him. Physically, I'm my dad. Neither of them are skinny, but my mom's side of the family is proportioned a little differently…

Well you all put my back up singer idea right to shame. Hahahaha! I did, however, become a teacher, get married, have kids, all the "normal" stuff. Those were all in the works when I was little too!
-
I'm loving these responses already! I love randomness!
-
Well welcome newbies! Can't wait to get to know you better! Those are all great goals! I've been trying to think of a random question for today. Maybe it's just me, but when I was little I always wanted to be a back-up singer. Weird? I know. Why wouldn't you want to be the headliner, the main event? Well, because I don't…

Well, I still haven't been able to drink 64 oz of water a day consistently. I DID get through my C25k training in 8 weeks instead of 9 and now I am playing with speeds! I didn't get my 120 miles by February 14, but I DID keep logging until I finished which was the end of last week! March goals- continue running 3x per week…
