There is no research that suggests meal timing, especially something as superficial as time of day, has any bearing on weight. But then again, no carbs after 6pm, trust me bro, is solid logic......

Hockey fan checking in. Allegiance stands with the Flames! Surpassing expectations since '13. woot. But I enjoy watching every team play, except for Nashville and Phoenix. That is some booooooring hockey.

Winning.

You need to play against lower skilled players.

The juice would help. Not saying that this is not obtainable naturally. Just seeing you'll get there faster...

I do Ice Hockey. Unfortunately it doesn't burn any calories according to this list. :D But it is the best sport in the world. So there.

That's fine, you can still lift on just 3 days a week, but if you do, I would suggest moving to a good full body program. Especially since you're still a beginner. Many of those programs will give you 2 days, say Workout A and Workout B. You just have to alternate. So for you, since you do MWF. You'd do A B A on week 1,…

People still listen to what this quack has to say?

The only problem I can see with having a big breakfast is the hassle it causes later on in the day to make sure you fit your daily calories. I used to routinely eat 1000 calorie breakfasts but then I found it very difficult to meet my goal. But as far as the sheer science, it makes no difference. It's all meal planning and…

A few questions... Can you do any more than the three days? 5 leg exercises with 4 shoulder exercises is a lot of volume in one day, I'm assuming you're doing either 3 sets or 5 sets for each exercise, that's 27-45 sets? Quite a lot of volume, IMO. Another thing to consider is how long have you been lifting? If you're…

Fixed that for ya. Gluten is the Aspartame of the last three years, the sugar of the last decade. It's this villain people are picking on, thus making people aware of something they, more than likely, don't have. Is Gluten good for you? No. But for the majority of people it's not what's making you bloated or gain fat.

There needs to be a sticky for this or something....... Because you are specifically seeking to burn fat: Step 1: Consume at a caloric deficit. Step 2: Eat sufficient protein and fat Step 3: Lift weights using heavy compound movements

Because YOUR MACROS DON'T ADD UP TO THEIR STATED CALORIE TOTALS You're recording incorrectly..... I highly doubt you are eating 1,100 - 1,200 calories a day. Your diary contradicts itself.

IMO, if you take some who has been obese for their entire life, and told them to go onto a Paleo diet, calorie counting will still be needed on average. For those that are calorie conscious from previously counting and are educated, I would think that they would have at least a decent idea how many calories they're…

Does not compute.

Weight loss does not necessarily mean a change in body composition. When you lose weight without an emphasis on body composition you end up looking like a smaller version of yourself. People that want to get toned/ripped should emphasize on fat loss, not weight loss. There is a difference.....

I do not know if this has been said or not. But just looking at today for example, something doesn't add up. Your calorie count is at 1000, but when you add up the macros you get 2,355 calories. You're selecting items that are not adding up. If you are in fact eating the macros that you are inputting, this is why you're…

That one diet that you count calories on... I forgot what it's called....

Show me the study which proves that eating a snickers/cookie/ice cream sandwich a day results in anything unhealthy.

Brb going to get me a cinnamon bun.

1400 calories a day at 155 lbs, what height? My gut reaction says you're in a good range. When you start dieting without much of a change in exercise, you tend to lose weight quickly in the beginning I've found.

Feel free to add me! :P
