I disagree. I swim 5 days/week for 1- 2 hours per day. When I say swim, I mean swim. Added. I am currently 225 and 5'1. My goal is 130 even though they still say that is in the "overweight" category. We'll see how I feel when I get there ;) I have personally started swimming again, and wow. Never really considered that a workout, but I'm glad it is!

Doing absolutely everything right and burning 900+ cals/day I lost 2.5 lbs in a week and I was blown away. I would have been just as excited at 1.5! It's a LOSS woo hooo go celebrate.... the healthy way lol

At minimum I am in the pool for 90 minutes a day, and just recently added an hour of gym time on top of it for a total of 2 1/2 hours exercising. I feel great. The pool I use is maintained at 85-92 degrees for therapy, so that time in the pool melts away all of my soreness from doing other things.

Whatever you do, keep moving or it's going to feel 20 times worse tomorrow. Move around, stretch those muscles, and hang in there. Once you get them warmed up, you should feel fine during the workout and then more stretching etc after.
