Both forms are correct.

I live in Ontario too. "Ocean Jewel" is a good brand and is inexpensive as you mentioned

I've learned that shrimps are high in cholesterol. This is possibly one of the reasons why people try to avoid it.

So basically meats and dairy lol Thanks everyone

count your calories. Also, never categorize foods as healthy based on what they sound like. For instance, Lipton green tea is healthy but has lots of sugars and is relatively high in calories. Log in everything and you should see a difference.

Anyone?

Sounds delish! And for the others who posted their opinions about how they'd rather eat other pancakes, this recipe is for the people who are craving substitutes and who are maintaining low calorie intakes. When I prepared this recipe I wasn't bothered by the taste of egg. just make sure to use a ripe banana.

this is what it looks like:

Well that's how the recipe is categorized.

Wrong section. You may need to post this in "general diet and weight-loss help" to get responses.

As I've mentioned my protein intake seldom went below 60g per day. I do 1-2 set of 30 elevated pushups + 1 set of 30 biceps curls using 10lbs dumbbell.
-
Thanks! How much are you eating?
-
Thanks for the info! I consume lots of lean meat, eggs, and fish. I will definitely get greek yogurt!

I understand 1200 is little for me, but as I've mentioned I've been eating more than 1500 cals on some days. I ate 3000+ on 1 day (around 1pound of protein!). I will up my calories to around 1500-1600. MFP suggests 1580 (To lose 2 pounds per week), so I'll stick around that. In regards to my protein intake, I consume at…

Thank you all very much! Very helpful information :) I'm fairly active, I bike at least once a week (because I like it and I have to bike to the grocery store). I also play soccer from time to time. I walk to the bus stop for 15 minutes in total everyday.

I'd rather sit at home and watch movies really. I'm wondering if cardio is NECESSARY for muscle loss prevention.

I don't know any site that does that. you can still go on the recipes sections of the message boards here and you'll see plenty of recipes that you might like.

I wouldn't worry too much about sugar. MFP sets a very low limit for sugar. Since you're eating natural sugar coming from fruits, you're good if you cross your recommended intake even by 50%.
-
I started consuming carbs last week (after 3 weeks of cutting them). I'm still way under the carbs goal set by MFP. I consume 80-100, maybe 130 at max. My goal is 223. Shall I start cutting carbs again if I want to? or is there something that could happen by these surprise cuts?
-
Suppose I want to go low-carb. How much is low carb based on my weight and nutrition? Note: MFP recommends 223g carbs per day
-
You're right, that's a bit low. However I usually consume around 1200-1300 calories and they're all "dense" (Fruits, vegetables, lean meat, whole wheat carbs, healthy fats, dairy)
-
can you explain this further? I'm not crossing my set calorie intake at all. Will something go wrong if I start eating carbs again yet I'm still under my calorie goal? Oh and my weight is 205-210, 5'8 height, 19 yo.

I've read that caffeine boosts your metabolism when taken in moderation as too much of it is bad for you (Can someone clarify why?)
-
If your intake is low, yes. Exercise also keeps you in a good shape.
-
Thank you all so much! I get at least 300 calories from fruit juices without even being satisfied! I guess I'll have a soft drink once in a while and have whole fruits to get the nutrients.
-
Beautiful! I'm wondering what kind of exercises you've done?

Regarding the sugar issue you guys are arguing about, I think this is true: The body won't turn to the fat reserve for energy if it has gotten enough carbs (sugar). So the less the sugar the more fat you burn. Right?
