My mom told everyone >.< how much weight i lost (i hadn't even told hubby how much). I know she was proud but :embarassed: i wanted to die lol. What do you say when someone you…

Im sorry. I respectfully disagree. Gram for gram, protein powder is cheaper money wise and a good source of cholesterol & fat free protein. Yes you CAN easily make high protein foods, but nothing wrong in my humble opinion in using protein powder to get a bit more in. To answer the OP question, I've done pretty well with…

Frozen berries or fresh fruit add a nice flavor. One of the best is 1/2 orange + 1/2 apple in a large container. Drink over course of a few hours. I add lemon juice & lime juice. Also love lemon aide crystal light or mio when I need to get a bottle down fast.

So inspirational!!! On a side note, (for newbies like me), go for distance more than speed. It's basically the same calories burned (i was shocked to learn but checked two different fitness calculators. Try it!!!). If i did the math right a walker at my weight walking a total of 4 miles: 2 miles per hour = 120 mins = 497…

Lost 2.2 lbs this week (59lbs total!!) today is weigh in day so its official! Did a long walk today & even though i was exhausted, i went grocery shopping, got no junk, and my kitchen is now filled with healthy yummy food!

I have two prouds. 1. I walked to a place I'd normally drive to. It's only 2miles away but I never knew you could walk to it! 2. Was out to dinner, had to walk between two chairs (pushed out with ppl in them). I was so sure i couldn't make it through. Was able to easy walk between them, and didnt gave to "squish" to do so.…

Actually Olive Garden isn't too bad if you stay away from the creamy stuff & pick booze or dessert, if at all. http://www.olivegarden.com/menu/nutrition/

I track, weigh & log most foods very carefully. Same deal with most vegetables- peas have a lot of calories. I won't however do things like garlic, baby spinach & onions (diet staples) i log them but more as an estimate. I didn't gain weight weight from baby spinach. My feeling is if i carefully measure 99.9% of things i…

I have a Ninja Pulse. If a blender can change your life, this is it. I didn't know a blender could work so well Thins is what I have. I mainly use the blenders & ALWAYS use the single cups. http://www.qvc.com/Ninja-Kitchen-System-Pulse-48oz-Blender-wSlicer&Shredder-White,.product.K36578.html?upsh=1&sc=K36578-CSWB On a side…

Optimum Nutrition Double Chocolate & Optimum Nutrition French Vanilla are in my cupboard right now. They're awesome bases - mixed with almond milk, ice & maybe frozen fruit - tastes like a "real" milkshake. I really like PB2, a peanut butter flavored powder, mixed it add pure yumminess

I don't see it as a binge but i do have a high calorie meal once per week. Yes on that day i go over my calories for the day, but over course of week I'm under. I like looking at calories over a weekly basis rather daily. I think it helps to be honest. Not trying to keep my calories steady but rather having some days high…

I've lost a bit over 50lbs by weighing most thing & using measuring cups on the rest. Things i weigh pretty religiously are the high calorie things like meat, cheese, nuts. Measure most things with measuring cups, the only exception being low cal veggies like green leafy ones & onion. To make my life easy i keep a set of…

Is it possible to still join? I'd love to try for more accountability. I've been doing great by myself but would love more. Thank you!!

Probably not popular but i use protein powder as a meal replacement. I make it a meal, using it with 1 serving protein powder, 1c almond milk, 1c frozen fruit and ice. It gives you a high protein lunch, that's delicious low fat, low cholesterol and fairly inexpensive in terms of grams protein/cost. I use optimum nutrition…

I do one cheat meal + real dessert a week. I may go over cals on my cheat day however the day before & after i tend to low cal it. My weekly calories is always under goal. It's working for me :D I've found it's way easier to stick with my healthy eating 26 meals (3 meals + dessert per week) if i know ill have 1 meal & one…

Have you compared current pics to ones that you had at start? I don't always see it looking but trying on clothes that were tight that now fall off kinda helps me see it. Any way you look at it 100 lbs is a huge accomplishment!!! You must be moving better & feeling peppier!!!

While these wont work for all, I had sizing beads added to one of my rings. You don't feel them, and don't cut the actual ring. Sizing beads can take it down 1/2 a size. There are other options on this site too. http://www.professionaljeweler.com/archives/articles/1998/nov98/1198fys1.html
