I guess I don't understand why you'd buy a supplement to cleanse your colon when your body does a fine job of it on its own given proper nutrition, hydration, and rest. Also, most "jump starts" are usually nothing more than water weight loss. Slow, healthy & sustainable losses are the best approach, but you probably know…

I'll second the Walk Away The Pounds series, they're low impact and anyone can do them. If you visit collagevideo.com you can preview tons of DVDs before you buy them. If you have netflix, you can also get fitness DVDs from them. And, there's always fit/exercise tv on demand, depending on your cable provider (assuming you…

Yep, it comes with a nutrition plan, though, I don't follow it. I say add more lean proteins, dairy, whole grains, and fruits/veg to your menu. (though, you probably already are doing that). On a personal note, I've not experieinced extreme hunger while doing CE, and I'm on the second week of the Lean phase.

I have a Polar F6. I like it because it has a chest strap, is easy to program/use & deflects cross-talk of other HRM wearers(not that I workout at a gym).

Oh, so it's the "bad" leader and the food choices that are getting to you, I see. I have no idea why WW would send such an uninformed leader, seems counterintuitive to me. Though, the plan materials are pretty clear so if anyone were truly curious, they could read the materials then confirm with their leader (even if said…

It doesn't do anything more than what taking a vitamin c (or getting vitamin c in its natural form), drinking lots of water, eating a balanced diet, and getting enough sleep would do.

I guess those people aren't following the healthy guidelines that Weight Watchers stresses (whole foods, fruit, veg, lean proteins, etc)? Then again, they can eat whatever they want, right? It's not Weight Watcher's fault , is it? If they were counting calories, they'd proabably eat those foods you deem "bad" too. In my…

I love this workout, I'm on week two of the Lean Phase. I've not been extremely sore, but I also stay well hydrated and stretch more after I'm done with the circuit & Chalean's cool down. BUT, everyone is different.

I'd add it as my own workout/cardio and use my heart rate monitor to accurately track my activity. Though, if you're not planning on eating your exercise calories, total accuracy doesn't matter all that much.

I do nothing differently. Google the article "Why The Scale Lies" for some good insight. The number on the scale is just one indicator of weight loss.
-
I trust my scale, but then, I only step on it once and step off it. I bet if I stepped on/off it multiple times in a row, I'd get wonky readings as well. You can always check the accuracy of your scale by putting 2 handweights in 5-10 lb. increments to see if it weighs stuff properly.

Just because WW endorses frozen meals, doesn't mean a person has to eat them. I never did, they're neither satisfying or that tasty. Not to mention, at no point did I feel like I was supposed to, or had to eat the SmartOnes. Processed food is processed food, WW is not alone in that. I guess it's all about personal choice…

Yep, I'm another WW success story. I was never starving, I indulged when I wanted to, ate when I was hungry, and sometimes ate just to eat. I definitely never felt deprived. I like that WW focuses on healthy & sustainable losses, and healthy guidelines for eating/making menu choices. I lost all my weight online only. I use…

I've not seen that show, mostly because I don't think I"d enjoy watching another person stuffing his face with the most obscene portions of food I've ever seen. The commercials alone make me ill.

Are you ready to put forth an honest effort? If so, I'd say you know what you need to do. If not, I'd say wait til the time that you regroup and can truly focus instead of driving yourself crazy about it. If you're on such a tight budget, maybe you should cut out the baking (for others) and focus on fresh/whole snacks &…
