This does make sense depending on how active you are. The more active the more calories are needed to consume to maintain healthy weight/ slightly less calories if trying to lose 1lb. per week. If that makes sense.

I was in walmart a couple days ago and saw woman with 4 kids and cart full of unhealthy junk food, soda, chips, candy and more and paying with food stamps.
