  • I have a family history of barrel shaped women, so always knew I was gonna have a fight on my hands, but am determined to do this the right way for life
  • First of all any exercise is good, I took a long time to be ready to do this for good... all the weight will give you low self esteem from the sound of your post, so go get yourself a self hypnosis program, me personally love using glen harrold, people may think you just need motivation, but like you I hate what I see in…
  • you both look gorgeous, well done, such an inspiration
  • Thanks for all that... also if I do several hours walking and my legs hurt what sort of recovery should I be doing? I soaked my feet last night but they are still quite tender today... my legs are very heavy and sore but I think it's cos they are not used to exercise...
  • the worst diet advice I heard was you can eat as much as you want cos its fat free... my idea is that if I exercise more, then I am too busy to eat, so there it is, a no brainer, I will exercise more cos I will not be able to eat lol and then I will be too tired to go to the fast food places and only have enough energy to…
  • well done you, I have been on here for nearly one week, but have been going gym for 3 weeks, have cleaned up my junk food habit in the last week, I hope I do as well as you, keep it up you are doing brilliant
  • I may not comment on every little thing that happens but I also do not expect to receive comments either, ( if I get comments they make me feel great though) but what I get from this site is INSPIRATION.... I see people logging in daily... I see people regularly eating under target... I see people doing exercise... ALL…
  • from what I am reading here and elsewhere "clean" is "unprocessed"... now the problem I have with that is the minute you chop a veggie or fruit it becomes processed... also has anyone given thought to water, it is heavily treated to be clear, it has undergone water treatment therefore been processed... so how is water good…
  • I was an exercise phobic, I made excuses left right and centre to not do it... then 3 weeks ago I joined the council run gym, I go when its a little quieter... From what you have said it sounds like you could do with improving your self esteem... think of what you have achieved and what you can do... look at this as a new…
  • How do you log this is your exercise plan?
  • I swear like a fisherman's wife, I do not eat clean all the time ( I really struggle with it too many nice tasting things out there) am sarcastic and generally a pain in everyone's *kitten* lol add me if you want
  • I am in, I am 44 and this support network sounds perfect... feel free to add me as a friend, more friends = more support
  • Do not neglect doing lower ab exercises, they will help, at the end of the day you have done a great job, you will lose it just unfortunately, it always seems to be the last bit to go, I am going on the same path, most of my weight is hips, bum and tum, so I feel for you and wish you well
  • Just a question as I am new to this... Can you lose all the flabby bits as I have an apron from 5 c/sections and some bingo wings, from all the tv stuff they all opt for skin surgery, but I will never be able to afford something like that and would love to hear that it is possible to get rid of it by exercise and good…
  • I will start it on june 1, how do you modify? I am interested to know as I have knee pain a lot due to arthritis
  • that is fab, I know I can do the same, thank you for the inspiration
  • thats what I am aiming for too, to shift the fat that is sat on top of my muscles... I am doing small amounts of resistance to help build muscle to help with the fat burning process, when I am happy that I have lost the fat gained from my meds, then I will bury my scale in the cupboard and start training properly... today…
  • if your on meds that can cause extra eating, like the other posters have said, it would be better for you to eat smaller meals more often, train your body to recognise it is not going to get starved, it doesn't take long, 21 days to create new patterns, 28 days to break old patterns, you can do it
  • I am 185lbs and 5' 2" but I am not fat, I am height challenged, but seeing as I cannot do anything about the height I will change the weight, I used to call myself fat till I realised how depressed it made me feel, now I say I am weight challenged, challenged to deal with weight on a daily basis by working at it, like they…

  • Hi I know the feeling too Everytime I take anti depressants I gain loads of weight and fast, like 7lbs per week, then I have to restrict food to below 1000 calories a day to maintain weight, so this time I thought hey they say eat healthy and exercise, so thats what I did, made no difference, got huge cravings never felt…
