  • i just asked my mom.. "when you told us to clean our plates when we were little, what country were the children starving in?" she didnt remember. i laughed at her.
  • my ex-husband (still, 11 years later) makes comments about my belly, pokes me as if i'm the pillsbury dough boy, tells me i have a j-lo booty (is that a good thing? i have no idea) my dad would make comments on how i was getting a belly. in his defense, he only saw me 2 or 3 times after i had my 1st kid (lived across the…
  • i blamed my children. (pregnancies) i "carried it well" i couldnt afford a gym to workout busy life made it to hard to workout tried and failed so many times
  • my 2 month old son. (yes, he was 16 pounds at 2 months. 10 when he was born)
  • i do it all on paper. :) i plan the meals for the week (they get written on the calendar) and i write out my grocery list as to what i need t make the things i need on the plan, and also the other stuff i need, like for breakfast and snacks for the kids and other stuff. i used to plan my snacks and everything, but found it…
  • butter. i was putting butter on EVERYTHING it seems. not so much anymore. also, making ice cream for the family and taking the bowl with the most. but mostly i gave up imminent diabetes. :) well worth the trade off.
  • i dont log the tiny things, like when i'm scooping food for my kids and i get some on my finger or something. i dont chew gum (damn tmj) things like marinade, where the meat sit and soaks, but you dont cook in it or drain it off after cooking (like you would with a steak) confuse me.. i'm putting it on it yes, but only…
  • i was 110 pounds soaking wet in high school, and i did NOT look healthy at all. i was happiest with my shape at about 130. (i didnt own a scale)
  • congrats! i hit year two in feb, which is HUGE for me since i didnt get to nurse my two girls. gotta make up for lost time. my period came back at 4 months pp. :( i was SO hoping for longer. :(

  • primarily a sahm, but i own my own crochet business. i do craft shows from spring through fall, and sell on etsy. when i'm making something, i'm sitting on my tush in front of the tv, but show days are very physical. lots of lifting, standing all day, setup and take down. https://www.etsy.com/shop/WintersGift?ref=si_shop
  • LOVE adams! i always forge to check their sale flier though.
  • aldi for the bulk of it, then price chopper. i only have 100 bucks to feed 6 people.
  • no i dont eat there often. not at those prices LOLOL it's our 8 year wedding anniversary. i went to the usda website and looked up the filet (wth no onion straws on top) and baked potato, and JUST those two things were over 1400 calories. i only GET 1700 a day. I should look up some of the other cuts of beef maybe…

  • no no no dont get a shield!! you'll ust shoot yourself in the foot! just work with him. jiggle him, jostle him, express or pump a little bit before you put him on so the milk is already flowing, but a shield will just decrease the amount of stimulation the breast will recieve, and lower your milk supply and actually makes…
  • my uncle lost a significant amount of weight (very quickly too-medifast) and he looks much older. so does my mom, who lost 50 pounds when she was diagnosed.
  • i had good luck using plain lotion to shave with. i dont shave much in the winter either.
  • your baby will get SO much more than your pump EVER could. some boobs are just better pumpers than others. stick that baby on there and let him at it. make sure the latch is good, and let him nurse. it sounds like, if you are full, that you got your supply up, try stopping the formula and just nurse him every single time…
  • except for the $35.00 copay. 2-3x a week.
  • i mostly gave up soda because its too much friggin money. hard to buy enough food on 100/wk and still buy soda too. i'll have one out or something, but it's rare. i never did drink diet cause i think its nasty. was it worth it? yes, because i had enough money for food for my kids. for me? meh. i wasnt hooked on it. now…
  • i havent told the masses on fb, no. but my family knows, some very supportive friends know, but really thats it. kinda funny since i tend to be an oversharer on fb LOLOLOL my mom told a few people (like my sister, who i wasnt going to tell-wanted to surprise her with my new shape) i have one friend, whom i love dearly, but…
  • awesome!
  • good for you! my first few days were jaw-droppingly eye opening horrifying as to what i ate. i started making changes immediately. i had NEVER looked at the labels on the things i ate every day.
  • yeah. what they said. i put up a workout buddy wanted on craigslist, and the ONLY response i got was from a beachbody coach. i REALLY wanted an actual living breathing person to workout with, not a fb group trying to sell me products. i have 2 packs of shakeology in my cabinet from a coach who did not disclose and came TO…
  • my hubby can eat upwards of 2000 calories in one meal, i know because i plated it for him. he's 6'2", and 170 pounds of muscle. size 32" pants, same as he was in high school, and he's 43! he just never stops moving. he walks about 5 miles a day at work, plus the heavy lifting (he works in a grocery store) i keep warning…
  • i would encourage more activity before i messed too much with her foods. cut the crap of course, but really, movement will help her long term more. my girls are both smaller (both height and weight. my 6 yr old is 40 pounds and 42ish inches)
  • five guys, and sleep. maybe i'll do five guys instead of the fancy steak place, and then go see a movie for our anniversary, then i can get MOVIE THEATER POPCORN!! and our movie theater uses REAL butter, not that fake crap. hmm... filet mignon, or 5 guys....
  • perfect. thats what i thought, but figured it didnt hurt to double check. it's a perfect day for a walk too, i think i'll drag the kids with me. :)
  • yeah, i read a study somewhere that it does. i swear thats why my adhd kid cant put on weight, she never ever stops moving. she was like that in utero too LOL so does shivering. but like the poster above, it's not enough to warrant an extra cookie. (MAYBE an extra single potato chip, but who's gonna bother with that? lol)
