  • I was watching a show last night about salt and I was shocked then the presenter added extra salt for a week (I think it was a week) and in the first few day she gained over 3kg of water weight!!! Makes sense, but it is shocking how much water weighs. So how can you tell if its water weight or weigh weight?

  • Thanks foamroller! Todays fast day and it's super hot and it is my kids schools summer fair! I will let them run around a bit and I will resist any candy floss/cotton candy :p Then I will come home and have my 500cal dinner. One week left of this challenge and then it's the 35 b-day!
  • Made it through my little girl's b-day. Ended the day in a bit of a 'food coma', but surprise, surprise, the left over chocolate cake ended up in the bin. No hiding the rest in the cupboard and secretly eating the rest the next day, so small victory. Will try to keep myself under control today and fasting tomorrow.

  • Week 5 of the challenge. Man, 6 weeks goes quick. So ... Weigh-in on Sunday went well and I'm down 1.2 lbs. This week is going to be tough one.   • Sorry too, cal0rina. Like flumi_f says, be kind to yourself. We are all here for you and will support you in any way we can. Food is a wonderful comfort, but other things that make you happy can help too. Focus on the little things and exercise that doesn't seem like exercise will help.

  • Fast day today and doing very well. Only had a skinny iced Americano this morning and planning pasta for dinner. I have only been feeling ...   • Had a successful TDEE day yesterday, those are the days I struggle with. And today the kids had a McDonald's dinner and I resisted, Hoarah!! Couldn't resist my starbucks though :p...but overall I think I will come in at my TDEE.

  • What a difference a fast makes! Weighed myself after my fast on Friday and I was 167.2! Down from 170.6! I know it wont last long, but it was a nice pick me up to see that number again :)
  • Fast day for me today. Just started on my first tea, 29cals. Enjoyed a little too much with the kids yesterday, but did tons of walking and I bought a skipping rope, it counts calories and MIL/KM and it was only £3 :)
  • A great app for your phone to track walking etc... is runtastic...it tracks you distance, journey and speed and estimates burnt calories. The greatest part is is links to MFP and uploads the activity automatically. Just have to remember to turn it off when you finish walking around the shops and jump in the car...it then…
