I'm still rather new here myself and still looking for a support group :) Feel free to add me also.

I'm rather new here too. Add me if you like.

Toss the entire recipe into a recipe nutrition calculator (analyzer). I sent you a message with my personal favorite but you can find several just by googling the above phrase. Sorry to not post a direct link, but I'm not sure what is and isn't considered a competing site. :(

Water Aerobics are probably my favorite workout. I can't wait till the classes in the outdoor pool start in June. I've been working out extra just to make sure I can handle the class.

It is harder for you to notice the weight loss on yourself because you look at yourself thoroughly everyday. It just isn't as easy to notice the difference, especially if you are loosing "all over". This is why friends and co-workers always seem to notice these changes for us :) I highly recommend taking measurements on a…

Really hope you decided against this. You don't need the ice cream. Fight through these urges.

Splenda if I am making something like kool-aid, iced tea, parfaits, etc. Other than that Sun Crystals are wonderful. The combination of Stevia and Natural sugar removes that slightly bitter after taste that is common to just Stevia.

Welcome.

I haven't had significant caffeine in my diet for almost 4 years now (long before I started dieting). I went off it because I was suffering from severe pain in my breasts, which apparently large amounts of caffeine can cause. I didn't really notice a difference in my weight when I did it, but I did notice a lot of…

Two thumbs up. The best thing I ever did was install this :)

My main inspiration: a little black negligee that I wore for my husband (then boyfriend) years ago and want to wear again :) I want to feel comfortable enough in my own skin to be in a picture. I've avoided cameras for the last 8 years of my life and regret it. My 15 year high school class reunion coming up next year!!!

Apple wedges and cashew butter. Cut the wedges, squeeze with a little lemon juice (to keep from browning). Package the cashew butter in a small reusable container. Perfect for one the go snacking. For a sweet/salty fix. Pop a 100 calorie bag of popcorn. Pour the contents out on a baking sheet. Melt 2 tablespoons of dark…

I did low-carb for almost a 1 year in my early 20s. As a person that grew up on "meat and potatoes" I sympathize with you right now. But you can get through this night and in a couple of weeks, you probably won't even want that anymore. If you are still having the craving, roast yourself eggplant, the texture is very…

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

Have to go with the rest of the crew on this one, get yourself into a doctor. please! Strep is only one of the many possible options. If you still have your tonsils, it may be a combination of strep and tonsillitis. These infections just don't go away on there own and the longer you leave them, the worse they are.…

Sounds like the little rascal is growing on you :) Tiring her out through daily exercise is a great way to help curve her nipping on you. She simple won't have the same energy level when you are playing with her. But she needs to be corrected whenever she decides to nip a person. As others said it is just a puppy thing,…

You want the fat in the meat to be marbleized throughout. You don't want a lot of really big chunks or veins. Nothing that has already started to age (turn brown). Tenderloin has the lowest fat content and is also the most expensive. The most common, middle of the road cut is going to be a NY strip. Personally I recommend…

Hi sunshine. Hate to say, it sounds like something else is up. From what I've read (correct me if I'm wrong) it takes around 3500 extra calories to gain 1lb of fat weight. You say you've gain 6lbs in 2 weeks. That's around 1500 extra calories a day. Even if we say that half the weight is "water weight", that would still…

Have to agree with the above posters. Volume for volume fat weighs more muscle. If you are building muscle you aren't going necessarily going to see a change on the scale. From your original post it sounds like you are noticing some changes outside the scale. Remember, it isn't all about the number on the scale, it is…
