I had an keyboard tray that was adjustable. It went under the desk, could be even with the desk or could come up high enough so I could stand and work. Unfortunately was 3 and 1/2 years ago. I really really miss it. I stand when I work from home, putting the laptop on books and such. I also sit on a fit ball at home too.

I think 90% of the timing crap means nothing. If you are really pushing the weight training, well then yea you need your protein. Other than that the protein after a workout seems all hype to me.

A good yoga class can be good. I say class because you should really go and explain you spine issues before you start. Also ask your doctor what would work. Check with a Physical therapist? If you have access to a pool that is the best exercise to build the muscle while not straining.

Well a lot of people will think different ways, but you did move. You were walking and pushing a heavy cart, so you were active. I think of it this way, if I was more active than my normal or really felt it then its exercise. Even doing more walking than you normally do makes it exercise.
