I know folks who have had bariatric surgery and 1) have to religiously monitor their supplements, 2) eat several small meals a day with a lot of other 'shoulds' like nothing with bubbles (soda) etc and yet over a period of years manage to gain back a lot of the weight and STILL need the supplements and 'shoulds'. I realize…

I've been a size 5-7 since high school through my first three kids after the fourth one I went up to a size 24w ... and teetered back and forth for years ... Now the fourth one is 31! Opps ... where DID those years go? Well, no more excuses just getting into shape slow but sure and staying there this time. I want to enjoy…

I'm good with Panda Express! Some pretty decent options - especially if you choose the steamed veggies! (I also order it as take out but eat in and then eat half of it there and the rest for lunch the next day. Since MFP has Panda express stuff in it I can easily half the calories. My weakness is Bejing Beef and the…

Supposedly 2 to 2.5 lbs a week is optimal. I go for two lbs a week and generally hit that. I'm not glued to that and I'd delighted when I make it but dont get bummed if I don't make it as long as it goes down steadily week to week even if it is even a bit. Some weeks are better than others. CC Weight for Me!…

I have no experience but I have a friend who had a fitbit and loved it ... but now wants to upgrade to the new fitbit flex ... So I just ordered one and it hasn't arrived yet but didn't pay extra for fast delivery (good thing cause they are out of stock) How do you like yours? Any tips or quirks? ThanX CC My Blog: Weight…

Here's a link for vegetarian fish sauce (not soy sauce) It has a lot of great stuff in it, yes, a 1/2 cup of soy sauce but when you put in all the other stuff it really cuts it down the sodium AND adds some of the soy sauce flavor with a bit more kick. See if you like that. Additionally ... If I want to add soy sauce I use…

I like - love to hear how others are doing as well . . . Those who keep up with each other seem to do better as well! I log in here daily and I am also 5'10" and determined to reach my goal which is now which is another 67 pounds though I'm not glued to the number but rather clothes size. *lol* If I weighed 400 lbs and was…

Okay here's the deal. I DO weigh daily. I weigh to keep in touch with a trend. However I am not 'concerned' with it. What I AM really in touch with is how my clothes fit. Are those NON ELASTIC WAIST jeans fitting tighter, loser, falling off my fanny or do I need a new pair? THAT is my real truth that I'm looking for. I…

At my highest I was 286 . . . I did a small bit and brought it down to 268 which is where I started last March. I PROMISED myself that I would dedicate 30 days to SOMETHING that got me moving. By the time the 30 days were over I had established a good habit. My first goal was to lose 10 lbs. I am now down 48 lbs and moving…

Great job! I'm not looking forward to dealing with excess skin so my plan has been to lose weight steadily and slowly. At my highest I was over 280 and a size 24w. In the last year I have missed 7 days of exercising and have gone from 24w, 22w, 20w, 18w, 16w, 16 to 14(same brand and style of jeans) and the scale is…
