I'm doing this too. I started May 31st, so day 9 for me. Maybe it's just the way I am seeing myself, but I think I'm starting to see some results. Tummy not quite as poochy and legs/arms looking a bit less jiggly. Yay! SW 153.6lbs, currently down 2.4 pounds. Trying to erase the weight having 5 kids in the past 12 years has…

Thanks everyone for your replies. I feel better now, I was afraid that I would have to squeeze my workouts into my already hectic daytimes. Now I know I can do my nighttime workouts without losing any of the benefits of doing my workout. I've only been doing this for 6 days, but I'm already feeling better and seeing the…

I don't believe so, as we are both waitresses. If she had a foot fracture before she began the program, I would think she'd have noticed discomfort at work before beginning the program. No way to know for sure though.

Honestly I have not tried it, but a friend at work started it (I'd guess her weight at about 170 lbs) and within two weeks she had broken her foot doing the workout. After explaining the cause of her injury to her doctor, he told her that he has seen soooo many people with injuries related to doing that particular workout.…

I think MFP is such a time-saver! I tried doing this last year just keeping track in a notebook. Talk about a pain! MFP saves so much time looking up foods/calories and totaling everything up for you. I thank my friend for telling me about this website! Yes, you do think more about the foods you eat and portions and…

OK, if this is not your current pic, and you want to look fabulous on your wedding day, throw your scale away now and stop stressing about the number. Just continue to do your cardio workouts and eat healthy (I assume that's how you've lost the 7 lbs so far). Focus strength training on the parts of your body that will be…

I love Cheerios - can eat a lot for very few calories and bonus - they reduce cholesterol!

If your profile pic is you, you look perfect the way you are. You'll be a beautiful bride! Don't stress about the weight loss. If you're determined to lose weight, I'm sure you can manage to lose an additional 10-12 lbs by your wedding day, but IMO I really don't think you need to. Congrats to you and your future hubby!

One thing I noticed when I started to buy healthier was, yes, buying lots of produce for a family adds up quickly. However, not buying ice cream, chips, cookies, prepackaged snacks, juice drinks, sodas and processed foods saved just as much. Watch your sales through your local newspaper circulars or online. Buy extra…

Will definitely keep that Fat Boost Metabolism workout in mind as I go along. After 5 kids, by body needs a lot more than just "toning" - lol. My biggest workout problem is that I'm a perfectionist. In my mind, if I start a workout program but miss a day or two, I see it as a failure and lose my motivation. I tried the…

Tigg1011 - Bring some cashews (or eat them right before you go). Will satisfy your hunger so no matter what you eat you won't have as large an appetite :o)

I started 30 Day Shred today - Thanks for starting this thread. Taking a family vacation in 6 weeks. Would like to not be embarrassed in swimsuit by then! Oh please don't give up - you've done a great job so far! I say go out and buy yourself a new outfit to celebrate how far you've come. When you see how many sizes you've dropped already, I'm sure you won't want to give up and go back to where you were. I'm just starting on my journey and can only hope for that kind of…
