I think I would tell my friend if I had reason for a strong suspicion. I would tell her what I saw, heard, etc. and let her draw her own conclusions. Unless I was actually in the bedroom with her husband and a paramour there is no way to be 100% certain. As a divorce attorney in a state where irreconcilable differences is…

Congratulations on your transformation and thank you for sharing your story. As a 50 year old with similar amounts to lose, that gives me hope. I am finding it harder to lose or maintain weight as I get older, but you've proven it CAN be done!

Grits! I make them in the microwave (but don't use the microwave pouches!) and throw in some cheese or poach an egg. Less than 200 calories with the cheese or egg, hot and VERY filling!

Beautiful progress!

I got a big pretzel at Sam's recently and was shocked at how many calories it had. Popcorn might be a better option.

Wow, just wow! You've lost a whole person, and not a small one at that! I am amazed at your progress! Keep it up!

I don't know anything about Gym prices, but if you're paying $15.50 EACH, biweekly, then you'll be paying at least $61.00 per month for the two of you (Actually $67.17 on average when you account for the months with five weeks). Did I miss something?

Awesome progress! Congratulations!

Way to go! That's a great accomplishment and I hope it makes you hungry to do more! And how awesome that you are doing it as a family!
-
Love it! Congratulations!!

And your body naturally retains water and weighs heavier at certain times of the month. Be patient. I'll bet you'll see a loss next week!

Any veggie that is the right size or can be sliced into the right size: Carrots, cucumbers, yellow squash, zzuchini, etc.

I turned 50 in March. I joined MFP last May and lost 33 pounds between May and October. I got off track in October while my daughter was in the hospital (good excuse, but still an excuse). Then I managed to gain 35 pounds between October and May. I am back on MFP since June and am doing well, for now. I'd love to have you…

I predict you will get dozens of responses and they will be different, but the common thread will be "I decided...". I don't think YOU can put your friend on a diet. It will never work until SHE is motivated to change her eating.

You go Mama! Your son will never forget that special memory!

What an accomplishment! Thanks for sharing your inspiring story!

I too weigh daily. I am not "obsessed" with it, but I think it helps me to stay "on" consistently. Without daily weigh ins, I think I am more tempted when I have an "off" day, to wait until the weigh in cycle to get back in the saddle.

I can really see the change! Great work!

That is awesome! I love seeing the progress in the same clothes and the same poses! It's remarkable!
