-
awesome! and thanks for supporting the economy
-
are you seeing a therapist or nutritionist to help you with your disorder recovery? everyone here is supportive and wants to help, but sometimes professional help is better. some of your statements were kinda scary sounding to me, so i'm just concerned about you.:flowerforyou: dried fruit and nuts are great. nut butters…

a lot people have a big drop at the beginning and then it tapers off. don't get discouraged if that happens. just stick with your plan! slow and steady wins the race...:flowerforyou:
-
agreed. and are you weighing yourself everyday? that didn't work for me, because i'd have weight fluctuations from day to day. i weigh myself once a week and it gives me a better picture of whether or not i'm acutally losing weight. just a thought...

i totally feel your pain! i looooove chocolate, though i'm not swiss... i've started eating really dark chocolate, and because its so dark i eat less. its like more concentrated chocolatey goodness than milk chocolate. mmmm now i want chocolate!

woot! :drinker:

hi peggy! a lot of people have had great success on mfp. be honest about your calorie intake and your exercise, and it should work for you. if you hit any roadblocks, just post away and we'll help you! emily:flowerforyou:
-
amen! you'll be dropping pounds in no time with that kind of determination!:flowerforyou:
-
i had to google a lot of that stuff! i'm totally lost on most of this exercise speak! but i can tell you what a "3/4 shimmy layered over basic arabic 4" is! maybe i'm on the wrong board...
-
hmm, maybe if you hold the bar in front then you could do a row while bent over...
-
thanks. if it is bending at the waist, is there a modified version for people lower back issues? the only thing i found said to keep the knees locked and rigid, which sounds very bad to me.
-
wtf is a "morning glory with row at bottom"? even google didn't give me anything on that!!
-
i'm a little late, but i will definitely try! i have dance tonight, so i'll give it a shot tomorrow. i'm scared...
-
the only thing fixed my posture was taking up bellydance. and this only worked because my instructor was constanly correcting me! maybe try a dance class at your ymca and see if that helps too...

i used to freeze grapes all the time in college! they are like delicious mini popsicles!

i'm back on after a couple months hiatus. it IS hard, but i don't think weight loss is easy for anyone. all the little steps add up so don't feel too overwhelmed. do what you can and do a little better the next day. :drinker: cheers to the wagon!
-
thanks! its nice to see so many familiar names are still around! you guys rock...

hi supermom, 3 pounds in a month is great! so don't give up yet! try eating your exercise calories (all of them) for a few weeks and see what happens. everyone is different so sometimes it takes some tweaking to figure out what works for you. DO NOT only eat 1200 calories! its not a healthy way to lose weight and you want…

hi mfp-ers, a few months ago, i thought i'd try not logging my food, just to see how i did. i did ok, so then i stopped weighing myself. i maintained my weight for awhile, but then the holidays came (insert ominous music). now i'm up about 5 pounds since i started the experiment. i'm ready to lose the 5 pounds again and…

 my husband thinks its weird that i'll just eat it plain! glad i'm not the only one out there!
-
i eat avocado plain! or slice it up inside the skin, add a little balsamic vinegar, and eat with a spoon. mmmmm.... avocado..... (drool)

i buy healthy alternatives to junk. when my husband is munching on doritos, i'm munching on crackers. when he's eating cookies, i eat hostess cupcakes 100 calorie pack. that way, i'm not tempted to reach in his bag and go nuts. oh, and i potion out my servings so i don't eat all the crackers in one sitting. if you can…
