Haven't posted belly dance gifs yet. It is time to correct this:

Well, since no one has answered yet... I work at a rec center and I've seen some bigger guys start in martial arts. Some quit within a week, some made amazing transformations. If your heart is in it, you will do great. The first couple of days will hurt like hell, just push through and it will get easier. Best of luck :-)

I guess I just don't consider it a big deal when I step on a scale away from home, clothed. I know it'll be higher by at least 2 pounds, it's just a morbid curiosity thing. Maybe its just me...

I'm obviously kind of biased here, but belly dance is low impact and there are tons of videos to get you started on YouTube. It burns calories, and doesn't feel like work.

Omg, I love this post! I often daydream of what will happen and what I can wear once I lose, and boots never even crossed my mind because that's always been an issue for me. You have given me hope lol
