steel cut oatmeal with 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/8 cup dates, 1 tbsp walnuts. Delicious and keeps me full! Protein, fiber, carbs, and almost no sodium

Greek salad with gyro meat...actually a pretty good choice. Just ask to hold the dressing - a little feta and meat goes a long way for flavor

Agreed. And Trader Joe's steel cut oatmeal is awesome. My breakfast during the week - I add a little almond milk and dried dates - little extra calories and delicious.

start reading nutrition facts on your food :) after awhile you'll be able to get a sense of whether or not the nutrition facts entered on here are close. Be REALLY skeptical whenever any processed food shows no sodium

I definitely agree with this - your tuna, bread, yogurt, and french fries all have loads of sodium in them

Not only do I look at ingredients, but I also look at where the food was shipped from. Living in Washington State, I don't want to be buying food from across the world, or even cross country if I can help it :)

big bag of celery sticks and laughing cow cheese! delicious, and really cheap

if you like apples...slice a red apple, stick it on a skewer, and bake in the oven .so delicious! cottage cheese, protein shakes are great snacks

I would have to disagree...especially if you check the menu out beforehand, you can easily stay within your cals, etc for a meal you would make at home. Staying away from Italian, Mediterranean, American restaurants helps...they tend to make it wayyy more difficult to find a low calorie option - even so, you can find at…

squats are killer - even when you only do a few - especially if you've never done them before! can take 2-3 days for the soreness to go away

celery with laughing cow cheese....SO good! and frozen raspberries in greek yogurt.

scales are a GREAT idea! It will take time doing that to really be good about knowing portion size...that and measuring cups are my best friend :)
