I had sleeve surgery 2/20 and I am on the mushy food stage now. I have lost 24 pounds since surgery .... My doctor told me at this point to measure food and eat only 1/2 cup at any sitting.... I am using a personal bullet blender to mushy up everything and am sticking to high protein options only. SO far so good!

THanks for the pointers so far folks! I hadn't even thought about running with heavy feet... maybe I will do some ankle weight running toward the end of my training lead up to this! I am really stoked to be doing this!

If you have hugged him tightly he allready knows what is "under the hood" so to speak. He likes you for you.... enjoy that! ALso, be aware.. no matter how fit he is he is likely just as worried about what you will think of him with out his clothes on....

I freeze chicken breasts, turkey burgers and other lean meats for grilling... that way they stay colder in the coolers on ice. I also by the ore-ida precut frozen hash browns and bring those sometimes.... they cook great ina pan on the fire ! I also bring eggs... but I crack them into a container with a screw on lid before…

I like coffee, and until recently had been known to drink at least 2 cups a day and also have iced coffee . i drink it black or with alittle sweetner and no fat creamer. But, a few weeks ago my surgeon told me that I had to cut all caffiene out as it has an eroding effect on the lining of the stomach..........eeeeeeeeeeeek!

I fantasize about potato chips with french onion dip... Onion Bagels with jalapeno cream cheese on them A giant baked potato covered in sour cream, bacon and sharp cheddar..... My list of cheat foods is long and carbolicious... but I am resisting so far My only cheat in 45 days has been 2 cups of popcorn with salt.......

I peel them, Slice them thin ... toss the slices with Salt, pepper and a little crushed garlic and then put them on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray and bake them at 350 for 15-20 minutes... yummmm!

I guess some folks just don't get that living healthy is a "Lifestyle"... key word being LIFE. You are entitled to a night of fun now and then, it's what makes the hard work of being healthy worthwile.. Thumb your nose at the nay sayers and just keep on truckin sistah!
