I gave in and turned on ours today when it got to about 82. A pregnant lady can only take so much. It's supposed to be 80's again here tomorrow and then Thursday 60's and Friday 50's. *shakes head at crazy weather*

I  me some Peeps. Yesterday I realized how many Peeps I've eaten lately. My mom got me Peeps and when I went to put them in my purse, Harley yelled, "PEEEEEEPS!!!!" Hmm.

I used to be. First I watched a little girl and then I watched a little boy, each for about 2 or 3 years. Then they grew up and went to school. Then I worked at a bank for 5 years and now I'm a Mommy. So it was definitely good practice. Dave laughed at me the other day because Harley's been having pre-terrible-2's fits…

No problem. I like knowing what's going on with Baby Batman/girl. I also have a What To Expect app on my phone and it tells me a weekly, a daily, and a "the baby is as big as...". Right now Cooper is the size of a cucumber.

Is he bringing me Peeps? Because I'd like that but I don't think the baby doctor would. I weighed myself this morning...not good. I keep trying to tell myself that Peeps are only here for a bit more but then I go to the store and stock up since Easter is almost over and then they'll be gone for a whole year. :noway:

 I don't want to rush it but I don't want to wait too long either. The little boy I used to watch was ready in my opinion not long after 2 - whenever he needed to poop (even though he was still in a diaper) I got to the point when he'd run to the bathroom and stand there pooping. By the time his mom was ready to…

I've partially potty-trained a few of the kids I used to watch but it was during the day not all night. Harley is starting to show interest (She likes to flush whenever we're in the bathroom.) but I don't want to start yet. She's only (almost) 19 months and I don't want her to learn just in time for the baby to be born and…

Beth and Andrew - YAY!!!! So exciting! Beth, I can't give you any eating advice. With Harley I ate horribly - sometimes I had chinese food every day for lunch at work - and I still only gained 30 pounds. This time I'm eating somewhat healthier and the doctor still tells me at every appointment that I'm gaining a little too…

My MFP on my computer keeps not working. It keeps letting me get to the website and then before I can click anything it goes to Internet cannot be displayed. So I'm checking in on my phone. Lori-FL - Hilarious! Never had their milkshakes but LOVE their waffle fries. Marla - For some reason, you swearing makes me laugh.…

Andrew - I know what you mean. Last fall, Dave willingly gave up his Dodge Magnum with a Hemi so we could get a minivan. He still gets a little sad whenever he sees one on the road but he knows it's what's best for our family. Harley and I took a 45-minute walk outside today. It was beautiful - 50's, sunny, not much wind.…

Andrew and Beth - Way to make a hormonal pregnant lady cry. Your news story was awesome! :drinker:

Um...:blushing: Yesterday I was 23 weeks pregnant and I've gained exactly 20 pounds since I found out I was pregnant. "They" recommend 25-35 pounds so as long as I don't gain more than 15 pounds in the next 17-ish weeks, I'll be good. I didn't check in yesterday because we drove 4 hours to Virginia for our niece's 4th…

I *hinted* to DH that I wanted an M&M McFlurry last night. (My reasoning was that I'm halfway through my 2nd pregnancy and have only sent him out maybe 2 or 3 times to get me something I'm craving. He took the hint. ) He got home and handed me my McFlurry...and a pack of purple peeps that he got after I'd mentioned…

P.S. Is it bad that for the past 2 days I've checked in on here but only to talk about the awesomeness of Peeps? :blushing:
-
They are marshmallow fabulous-ness with crunchy sugar-y crystal stuff on them. (That's the technical term. ) They are the best when you leave them out unwrapped and they get stale and all kinds of crunchy.

Before I even read your post, I saw the picture and thought "Mmm, Peeps!" Heating Peeps up is morbid but oh so delicious.

Uh, I mean Go Sarah!

Shuntae - Super cute!

Me too. We weren't rich by any means but I always had the necessesities and some extras. My parents fought, but just regular stressed out parent kinda fighting, nothing out of the ordinary. Harley already has more than I did. (We lived in a trailer with a leaky roof for example.) But I think we're doing a pretty good job…

I agree with Harley completely. :noway: :grumble:

Sounds good. Maybe by then I'll actually have an obvious baby bump. I've been gaining weight but I still barely look pregnant. :grumble: I thought the 2nd time, you're supposed to pop sooner.

That's all it'll take to get you to visit me? Hmm... I'm hoping spring will come soon so Harley and I can start walking (well, her riding in the stroller, me walking) so I won't need to work my butt off come July to get back in shape. P.S. I know. I feel so old. But luckily Dave's reunion was this year so if I'm…
