  • Unfortunately, for me...I lose weight from the top down. My chest (what little I have) goes down and then my stomach and love handles then, if I make it this long, my hips and butt. Ugh. Why can't we pick where we want to lose it and pick where some of it can go? :o)
  • I like them both for different reasons...but I'm leaning toward the purple one. You look great!
  • Good Luck to you! You're doing a great thing! Just remember that if you fall off the wagon, get right back on. Don't 'start again on Monday.' My biggest problem has always been serving size and the fact that I LOVE carbs. If someone could just invent the all carb diet, I'd be the skinniest girl around. If you can just get…
  • Hi, I'm from Wisconsin too. I, too, have gained over 20 lbs since April. Ugh. I'm back on here so I can get on track again. Logging food really helps. We're also doing the Biggest Loser at work so me winning $100 if I can lose 6% of my body weight in 10 weeks will be nice too. Welcome aboard!
  • I feel for you. I agree that any diet that I go on that I can't eat some things I like would be a failure. Also, you have to give yourself a treat once in awhile. Geeze...one time in a few months and you have a treat. Its not like you ordered 2 desserts! I say you're doing a great job and keep up the good work. Next time…
  • When I'm serious about losing weight, I have to avoid potato's.
  • You're back and that's the first step. Just kick it into gear and when you start seeing the pounds and inches come off, that will be your inspiration. Don't be so hard on yourself. Now you know you need to stay accountable...its all a learning experience to see what works best for you.
  • Toppers Pizza has it...not sure if its in your area. I heard its okay if you add bacon.
  • Ha...forget it. I used someone elses information and they had 1 cup equaling what is actually in a whole bag.
  • its always calculating from the date of your entry. its just a guide. if you want, write down the weight with the date and in 5 weeks check to see how accurate it is. my calorie counts vary daily as does my exercise routine so myfitnesspal would give me a different amount of weight loss everyday because some days I've…
  • Hi and welcome! This is a great site. Stick with it and make sure you're accounting for all of your food (in the past I would 'forget' the snacks or the coffee with cream, etc.). The food tab really makes you accountable. I always check it after lunch so I can plan my dinner. Good luck with your weight loss.
  • This is a good website and the program is very similar to weightwatchers so you'll love it. The first few weeks are a little time consuming, entering in your exercises and foods, but after that, it is much easier. The support here is great too!
  • Good for you! Today its 5 minutes and soon it will be 5 miles! Exercise looks so easy but when you're the one doing it, its HARD WORK! Keep it up!
  • Ahh...the two foods I love the most...combined. Thanks for sharing. The recipe sounds super easy and tasty! Thanks for sharing!
  • Heart Rate Monitor maybe? My friend has a watch like thing that tracks her heart rate and calories burned while exercising. I am trying to find a good one.
  • Hi and welcome. My biggest motivation is when I see results. Look for results in your endurance, weight loss, firming and overall health. Hang in there until you see the results (this can take a few weeks). Don't give up and DON'T CHEAT YOURSELF. Most people that aren't achieving some level of results either have an…

  • Still looking for ideas. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm getting desperate. Looking to spend between $5 and $10 on each 'loser'. HELP (pretty please) !
  • on my fridge is a magnet that says 'i love chocolate'. :o) What is your favorite snack (doesn't have to be healthy)?
  • That is a great idea...expecially when the marbles start adding up!
