I put in how much the cardio equipment claims I burn but I do assume it is inflated. I just make sure to eat a bit below (while assuming I'm also eating more calories than it claims well) to make up for it. I like to record exactly what it states on the equipment though because then I at least can tell if I am doing better…

My mother got gastric bypass two years ago and she was told by her doctor that gastric bypass can be safer because they've had a lot more practice doing it (it's been around a lot longer) and that people can have the band slip/move pretty often. Either way they have to cut you open. Also don't you have to go back in to…

Seriously, some people now a days are so homocidalphobic! I'm in Anaheim so a bit too far, good luck finding a buddy.

I admit, I don't quite get why people get the lap band. Why not just gastric bypass? It seems less annoying/likely to mess up.

I'd say cleaning can definitely burn some calories but I'd have no idea how to log it, even if I do get all dirty and sweaty doing so. When I walk my dogs I round my time down as he does take time to pee and such. I took them for an hour and fifteen walk at the part today but only put in an hour so I wouldn't over estimate…

About 7 pm. Get home from work at about 4, make and eat dinner, rest for a bit, and then head to the gym right when the crowds are starting to disperse. Tried going a bit earlier but parking was always a mess.

Is it like for cashier work or something? I used to stand like 12 straight hours sometimes for my old job at a gas station but I wouldn't have logged it as exercise, maybe just as a higher rating than sedentary on my daily movement.

I have an LA Fitness I started about a month ago, it costs $50 a month for my husband and my family plan. We used to go to a cheaper place by our old place and I didn't want to pay more when we moved so we stopped going, trying to convince myself I'd keep working out using our equipment at home and the Wii Fit. Kept it up…

I started yoyo dieting very young (usually just not eating for days) and as a result had to get mine out in my early 20's.

I always post what the cardio equipment at the gym claims, which averages about to 500 calories an hour about 5 days a week. I also record the squats I do in the bathroom at the work but they don't have any calories attached. I figure the gym equipment probably overestimates calories burned so I just try to go a bit under…

I set my big goal prize as taking horseback riding lessons. Right now I'm too heavy to do so. I also want to go on rides without being afraid of being told I'm too big. I've avoided many rides for that reason. Disneyland is good for large people but other places less so. I also want to go hot air ballooning and water…

You know the best way to motivate my butt at the gym? Find a new book, get really into that book, and then tell myself I can only read it when I'm at the gym. I read on the less...unsteady equipment but yes, it's too difficult to read while on that treadmill. As a result 20 minutes on the treadmill feels 4 times as long as…

I've read the series through three times but I actually only saw the first season and half or so. It's not as good as the books. I'll get around to it eventually. And yes, Tyrion is the best...I'm such a conformist. I also love Brienne, Jaime, Daeny, and since the last book, Theon. Theon is currently the most interesting…

French. We don't actually need icons of ourself right?

I mostly get my clothes from Kohls because, yay, lots of clearance! But on occasion have shopped at Target and noticed I basically need two sizes up. I usually don't but anything because I get disheartened with going in with 5 dresses and none are close to fitting. It's not that I refuse to acknowledge that I'm not the…

Super cute. The new you looks very elegant. I hope to be back below 200 by the end of the year as well, very inspiring.

Omg! Now I have a new goal in life! Heck with all this health stuff I need to hook up the SNES. You must've had a lot of practice at that. I'm seriously jealous. Oddly I'm only good the SNES the other controllers throw me off.

I've always classified myself as a "fangirl" but I suppose nerd works as well... The first charm my husband got me on my new charm bracelet was a book, lol. I read so obsessively I even read on the phone at work as people are talking to me. I also have the ability to become completely obsessed with the odd video game here…

I always was a night eater as well but lately I don't seem to be having that issue. I get home and have my dinner at about 5 then relax until about 6:30 when I go to the gym. By the time I get home it's almost 8 and I usually am asleep by 11. I think the exercise curbs my appetite until I go to sleep which is a good thing.…

Hmm, that's odd, I didn't realize it could do anything to pH. I tend to drink them pretty often in the evening as they're cold and in the fridge and more refreshing to me than regular water. That said, I don't actually drink coffee (just not a fan) and do drink at least one full Nalgene bottle (32 ounces) of regular water…

In our house we tend to drink a lot of fizzy products that come out of a can that isn't soda, that is seltzer water, club soda, etc. You can get them lightly flavored a lot. Like right now I'm drinking Seagram's Sparkling Seltzer Water - Orange Citrus flavored. The only ingredients listed are "carbonated water" and…

I'm new as well and looking for some inspiration. Also I think I must be built differently, I'm 5'6",224 (was 231 three weeks ago, yay!), and am a size 20 as well. I'm surprised that others my weight/height are coming in at 18/16. Must be my lack of a chest, lol.
