Stick with it! Remember that muscle is heavier than fat. You could also be retaining water. I recommend weighing yourself at the same time each day or week--I weigh myself in the AM before I eat and after I flush my system. Self-prepared foods also are ideal. I would leave it at 9 weeks. After the beginning, you lose 1 to 2 lbs on average per week. You rocked your first goal! Great Job!

Try tracking your salt and MSG intake. I now get headaches when I consume salty food or food with MSG. Thirst is a natural reaction to salty food.

Try adding some protein for breakfast. I do 1 pack of instant oatmeal and 2 jimmy dean turkey sausage links. I also do eggbeaters on an arnold multi-grain sanwich thin. The first is only 220 cals and has 11g of protein. The 2nd is 160 cals and 16g of protein. I also snack on almonds for protein and laughing cow cheese…

I like almonds for crunch and protein. I also like Special K crackers--1/2 serving with 1 wedge of herb and garlic laughing cow light swiss cheese :80 calories. For my sweet tooth I like Quaker Chocolate Rice cakes with whole grain as they fill me up and indulge my sweet tooth. Popcorn is another fav.
