Congrats on your progress. I started getting comments around 40lbs lost. These all came from people I don't know well. The first ones to notice were my neighbor's adult daughter or helpers at my children's school. I was pushing the 50lbs lost before any family members actually said anything about my weight.

I am a boredom eater. I find I just have to get up and moving when I feel like snacking. I clean, walk, or exercise when I get the munchies. I have found over time I boredom eat less if I stay busy. I spend little time watching TV or playing on the computer now days as those were my triggers to munch. I preplan a lot of my…

Not all relationships are that way. My best friend is male, he is also my ex-boyfriend. My husband is so comfortable with our relationship that my friend was a groomsman in our wedding.

Congrats!!!! Enjoy the feeling!!

My goal right now is 150. I was 130 in my late teens through early 20's and was underweight for my large frame and had a lot of health problems from it. My doctor told be a healthy weight for me is 140lbs to 150lbs. Once I get to 150 I will look into going lower or working on more lifting to reshape my body.

I don't understand why she hands any candy out. If she feels sugar is bad for the overweight child, why is not bad for the thinner child also. She could give out stickers, cheep toys, or healthy treats. My daughter got pencils, stickers, spider rings, and all kinds of non food treats last year and loved them. By refusing…

You are doing great. 2lb week is normal and much healthier then on shows like TBL. I started out needing to get rid of 77 lbs. I set my account to 2lbs per week and now that I am past the half way point went to 1 lb per week. The less you have to loss, the slower it should come off. I figure it will take at least a year…

Great!! That's one thing I love about where I live, no weight on our DL.

I have mine set to lightly active as a SAHM. I am on feet more then off them with cleaning and cooking. I also spend a good deal of time actively playing with my kids.

I have a diet dew everyday. I cut way back on soda though as I wanted to switch to more water, but need a little pick me up in the afternoon and I don't like coffee or tea. I saw a nutritionist when I had gestational diabetes with my second baby and she told me I could have diet soda in moderation.

I can do my 3 mile walk in 45 mins instead of 60. I am up to a 14 min mile running instead of 18 mins. I can lift my 40lb son out of his car seat without making any grunting sounds lol. Oh, and a pair of pants that I started wearing at the beginning of September are now too big.

I'm 5'5" and wore a 20 at 195, but I also carry all my weight in my waist. The thighs and butt were bagging, but just right for my middle.

For me the MFP calories are always over. I log my walks as 2 mph even though I they are closer to 4mph because the calorie count is closer to what I burn. When I run, I track my heart rate and use another site to get the results and manually enter them here. For my 20 to 30 min run MFP is 100 or more calories over what I…

Congrats on reaching this goal!!!!

MFP works for me because it is logical. It is straight forward and to the point. I can look at things I did that help and others that didn't work. I might add I am also a numbers person.

I have not taken a break yet, but plan to eat closer to maintenance from thanksgiving through the new year. I plan to log everything I eat still, and exercise like I do now.

I think my worst job was at a factory that made parts for snowmobiles. I worked the ski department, which consisted of pouring dyed plastic powder into a molding machine, then after it cured pulling the burning hot ski out of the machine. The worst part was we ran hundreds of molding machines that heated to 300+ degrees in…

I would like to get down another 17lbs by Thanksgiving, and go into maintenance mode until new years. I want to enjoys the holidays, and we have like 6 birthday parties between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

My NSV this week is my wedding band is too big now, and sliding of my finger!!!! I think I'll wait to get resized though until my goals are closer.

I eat between 1500 and 1900 a day. I am 5ft 5. I was eating less and exercising more, but just felt sluggish all the time. So I upped my cals and lowered the amount of exercise I do, and I am still taking the weight off at about 2lbs per week. I eat 50% to 80% of exercise calories back.

Thanks everyone for the congrats and words of encouragement!! I have a long way to go still, but this was one of those small steps that meant a lot to me!!
