@Snowflake1968 I think I’m happier about the meals I cooked than the 14lb hehe. Course I’m proud of me for sticking to plan but I weighed everything. Every. Thing  I’m in Liverpool UK but I really don’t mind going to sleep at 1pm. I could definitely do that

Hi everyone It's only 7.30pm but I've had a busy busy day so I'm going to bed in a min  Batch cooked a good 35/40 meals - all healthy and nutritious. I weighed everything so they can be included in my diary and I know the calories are correct. I've also done 30 breakfast egg muffins - with lots of varieties - so I…

JFT 28/04/19 Sunday 1. I’ll come back here in the evening  2. Log all food & drink  I didn’t eat enough calories and just didn’t want anything else. I quick added 300 calls and deleted them after I completed the diary. 3. Take at least 5500 steps  I went for a walk at the beach this morning, it was…

-
Waaah well done for 30k steps! And I love your positive thinking

Most days my Blaze forgets who MFP is and I have to reconnect it. No idea why but I reconnect then restart my phone and the steps are back again

In the UK people say the water tastes different in different parts of the country so I know you mean about a taste, but really for me water just tastes of water. In work, I would drink maybe 3 litres of water then only tea or coffee at home. I really tried with the tap water at home and it just didn't appeal to me at all.…

Brilliant  I'm walking slowly about 5500 steps a day for medical reasons and I was wondering if I'd ever be able to 'exercise'. I already am

Hi everyone I'm a little late to the party but I'd love to join you guys. This looks like a brilliant thread - such a fab idea - and I'd like to commit to posting each day. I'm a married 42 yo mum of 2 uni kids and I work part time. I've spent far too long just grabbing food on the go, being lazy and ordering in, eating…

You can do this Raven - I'm 23lb into a 150lb weight loss marathon. Add me and we can motivate each other :)

I eat once a day during the week as that's what I prefer with work and kids etc. Do whatever suits you.
-
Hi fellow52ers :) Please feel free to add me. I've been eating this way for quite a while now and I've lost 6 stone so far. Got another 4 stone to go. Can't imagine eating any other way now. Xxx

Haha it got me too!!!!

Haha this! Weighing and deducting the uneaten food ...... at a family meal. In a restaurant. And arguing with my man cos he took the wrong baked potato. And not backing down :)

This makes me smile x

Check out the sticky posts - chocka full of great info. To lose weight you need to eat less calories than you burn and move more. That's about it. The problem is once you get a hold of that you just have to take it further and want to eat the healthiest you can. That's where the rest of it comes in. Don't worry - you'll…

I went clothes shopping with my 15 year old daughter last week and we (I really mean me) normally spend most of the days budget on her. Well, my daughter focused on me and she picked out clothes I would never choose. I've been wearing them this week and I'm getting compliments from all directions. I've lost a lot of weight…

I'm OK with my baggy baps and saggy stretch marked stomach. I only look like this through my own actions. It's me and who I am. I don't even dye my starting to grey hair so the bits I can cover are totally cool with me. I do understand how it can be upsetting and I think reconstructive surgery should be a little less…

Yeah I've heard others claim to be doing 5:2 but eating more cals than they did before :) It's like they've got permission to pig out. MFP doesn't let me submit anything less than 1200 so I add a block of cals, submit then delete them.
-
Love all of it. Thank you
-
I laugh at how much people scoff at 5:2. Just because they don't like the idea etc. It's not a fad it's CICO - pure and simple. I weigh and measure everything. Having my cals on a weekly basis rather than 24 hours isn't a big deal. It fits in with my busy lifestyle and I love that can have a treat when I want on 5 days a…

There's a sticky post with more information and guidance that you could ever hope for. Have a read of them

I've been doing it since September 14 an I love it. Lost over 5 stone so far and it hasn't been crazy difficult. I struggled the first few weeks with headaches etc but now I want to eat like this forever. My 500's are generally tons of fruit infused water all day with boiled chicken and salad for evening meal. My other…

I love this. I'm nearly 2 years into no boozing, initially not by choice though. A brain tumour made an appearance. I'm now allowed to drink but I'm really happy to leave it. Never thought I'd ever say that - I was always the first to get the drinks in and the last to leave :)

Another 'I'll give a scenario; request advice and when I get great help and assistance I'll get all defensive and refuse the help' post. Why do peeps do this?

You can change your start weight if that's what you mean? Log in on a website (not the app) and go to progress and you get the option to amend
