If you're new to working out or injury prone, I suggest taking a rest day to do yoga & stretch out those muscles. You don't want to injure yourself. If you were moderately active before, you should be fine. I suggest Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown (free on youtube) once or twice a week. That will help a lot with your…

That's awesome! Mine says 160 & I weigh 126 now. My first DL, I was 115lbs. Hopefully I can get down to my teenager weight! (10 years ago!)

Thanks everyone for your kind words!! We can all meet our goals this year! :)

In 2012, I was on here & lost 20lbs as well & gained all the weight back & then some! You can do this! I am determined to keep the weight off this time! I think the support from MFP friends has been vital for my success!

You look amazing!! Im 5'1" as well & started out at 167lbs in July, now I'm 126lbs. Got a few more pounds to drop, but mostly toning up. Congrats on the loss!

Following. I've dropped a little over 40 & have a lot of loose skin. But it never tightened up after I had my kiddo. I hear getting to a very low body fat helps. Too bad that doesn't help my boobs! Lol

Thank you! It took almost 6 months to lose 41lbs. I logged daily & ate everything I used to, just less! I believe everything in moderation & I do not restrict myself from anything. Well, in the beginning I gave up diet pop, but that's the only thing I've ever restricted. Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. You can do…

Well I've lost 41lbs in almost 6 months, or just a week shy of 6 months. I think I've averaged 8lbs a month or so. A little more in the beginning when I was at an obese BMI, and less than a pound a week now that I'm at a normal BMI. I eat everything I did before, just less. I eat chocolate, pasta, breads, meats, etc...…

Thank y'all! There really is no shortcut, no expensive diet or exercise plans, just eating in moderation & working out at home (used gym at apt complex til we moved). My next goal is to buy some free weights & build muscle!

Thank you all for the kind words & support
-
Thanks y'all! Going to start working on toning up for 2014!

I'm 5'1'', 25 years old. SW 167lbs in July 2013. Goal weight is maybe 120lbs? Not sure. I'd like to lose 10 more pounds or so & see how I feel. I'm 126lbs now. I'd rather work on toning/ strength training to tighten up. We're going to try for baby #2 in May, so I'd be happy getting down to 120 by then
-
Anyone can feel free to add me. I NET 1350 calories per day. I'm 5'1'' & looking to lose maybe another 10lbs. I have an open diary & log daily.

Hello moms! I'm a 25yr old SAHM of a toddler. I'm below my pre pregnancy weight, but would love to get down to my pre college weight of 110lbs. I'm thinking that may be a little too unrealistic, but would love to drop maybe another 10lbs & tone up. Ultimately, we want to TTC #2 in May after my kiddo turns 3. I'd love to…

I started MFP in early July & have lost exactly 40lbs. I went from 167lbs to 127lbs. I think it took me 31/2- 4 months to drop 30lbs. I dropped like 8lbs a month. I'm 25 years old & 5'1''. I started seeing a huge difference once I dropped 20lbs. I eat everything I did before, just less. I do not weigh my food, but I try to…

I actually read this a while ago on ScaryMommy & loved it. So true! Luckily, I have a good amound of self esteem & am never self conscious in front of others, especially my kiddo. I want her to feel good about herself & not have as much self esteem problems as I did as a child/teen.

1. Lose about 10lbs by May. 2. Run my first 5K 3. Get a family membership at the YMCA. I want to incorporate a healthy lifestyle for my whole family. 4. TTC #2 starting in April-Mayish.

12/27- 128lbs. Hoping to drop one more pound by 12/31, that'll be 40lbs down since I started MFP in July. I've been since throughout Christmas, so I haven't been working out as much as I wanted to & of course eating too many desserts! Hope to get back on track today!

I'm a size 6 & am wearing my old size 9/10s. Just wear a belt. Or sell them on craigslist & get new ones. I've been wearing these big jeans since July. No worries!

Last Christmas my 3 year old niece called me pregnant. I laughed it off & told her no I'm just fat! I made an embarrassing situation funny. Its hurtful, but try to make the best of it. Hang in there

I've lost 40lbs & have had 1 child & have a ton of stretch marks & loose skin. I hear strength training will help a lot with lowering your body fat & helping skin tighten up. I have the most loose skin on my arms, stomach, & breasts unfortunately :( After I have my next child, I'm getting my tubes tied, a tummy tuck & a…

I'm 5'1", 25 yr old mom. SW: 7/2013 167lbs CW: 128lbs. For the first 2 months I stuck to 1200 calories + working out at the gym a few days a week & lost 2lbs per week. Now I eat anywhere from 1250-1500 calories per day + workout at home (Yoga, Pilates, HIIT, bodyweight training) & lose .5-1lb per week. I'm pretty sedentary…
