  • Well "operation make room for baby" is almost complete. Finished my son's room today throwing stuff out and cleaning up his room it was a tough one took me and him 4 hours to complete. All baby stuff washed and put away. Diaper bag for hospital packed, and my bag halfway packed. Husband scrubbed the bathroom like its never…
  • I have been through this before so labor, delivery are nothing new for me and you really should not be scared. Believe it or not it is not scary and their is nothing you can do to screw it up. They talk you through everything. You can't worry that something will go wrong you will drive yourself nuts. I never swelled in my…
  • I go to resale shops my favorite is Thrifty shopper I can find pants for $3.00 and when I outgrow it I can give back for credit to buy more. Or I hit Kmart and I can usually find shirts for $9.00. and pants for $11. I will not buy more expensive clothes till I am at goal.
  • caffeine!!!
  • Polar FT7 have had mine for a year and I love it.
  • Try not to freak out my SIL bump was enormous I had never seen anyone so big and she delivered her daughter 1 week before due date by csection and she said when they cut into her she had so much amniotic fluid that some of it came up and soaked her to her shoulders instead of going down the cut outs in the table. Her…
  • Met my husband 14 years ago at of course a bar!! I was 20 years old and my roommate was a cocktail waitress there and I had to bring her her id and he walked in with an Elvis impersonator. She was complaining to them about how no one was tipping and he was trying to get her to give him my number. I wanted nothing to do…
  • Mine was 4lbs 7oz at 32 weeks and just had another ultrasound at 36 weeks and she shot up to 7lbs 3oz. I would say he is just fine. Glad you were able to see a face all I ever get is the back of the head or a profile. Good job with the weight gain (never thought I would say that).
  • We moved 12 hours away when my son was 3 weeks old. It was not that bad we split it up over 2 days and had to stop a lot to feed and change. Its definitely a possibility as long as the people you are with do not mind a new baby.
  • You have to ask your doctor only they can tell you if its ok. I am currently pregnant and only have 3 weeks to go. I have a lot more weight on me than you have on you and I was told I could lose, mantain, or gain up to 11lbs. Right now my baby is already averaging around 7lbs and is healthy. I have gained and lost…
  • Sounds like it was a little rough glad all is well. I am pro epidural too. Had one with my son having one with this one too.
  • I definitely will not be logging while I am in the hospital I am going to use it as a rest and relaxation for what is to come when I get home. Once I am home I know I won't be able to stay off so I will start logging again.
  • I drink vodka and water and bring my favorite flavor of mio to flavor it. For me its the sweet tea. If your a beer drinker budweiser makes a 54 calorie beer, but my husband says its like drinking water and not every bar carries it.
  • I never worry when it comes to the holiday dinner. I just have a little bit of everything I want. I do not take large portions or go back for seconds. I even have desert I just take a small piece with a little whipped cream or ice cream. I do not try all the deserts offered I pick one. Just try to get a workout in the AM…
  • We are a J name family, We named our son Justice or you can spell it Justus. If he had been a girl we would have named her Grace, but I told my SIL that a few years ago and she used it. Since I named my son I told my husband he could have this one and he wants to keep it a J. I suggested Jocelyn, or Juliana and he vetoed…
  • Thats great so glad all is well. How big was she? Do we have a name?
  • Honestly I do not think any of it really works. My first was a week early and I felt fine through the whole pregnancy I did walk a lot about 3 weeks prior to birth but not sure that it actually worked. Wouldn't hurt to try but I went into labor on my own after eating dinner at applebees you maybe could try that
  • Sorry but it happens. Life gets in the way and people are tired. Especially when you are living under the same roof it can become comfortable and people just do not try as hard. Congrats to all of you who have sex every single day even while married, but people who do not are not abnormal. Some weeks it may feel like its…
  • Shopping this weekend for a few items we are missing and doing lots of laundry this weekend. Due date is 12/15 and had an appt today and am 1 cm dilated but they believe she is breach so have some decisions to make over the next few weeks. Just been really tired and if one more person tells me I look exhausted I am going…
  • I don't think my baby is acting differently he has always been clingy to me but lately he has been wanting to sleep in bed with me which he hasn't done for a awhile and right now he is laying on my foot. Just to give you a mental picture my "baby" is a 2 1/2 year old boxer that is 65lbs. Guinness is a good dog and he loves…
  • Ok so I posted this on my wall but for those of you who are not friends with me I had a crazy day at the doctors. Not only did they forget about me and I sat in the waiting room for 45 min before I realized it (got involved with a show on HGTV) Went in for my stress test and she would not sit still to get a consistent…
  • Yeah!!!!!! Good luck can't wait to see pictures and hear your story. Let us know the name :)
  • Misty Rain or Candy Apples
  • 1. The bank account is in my name only and his checks are direct deposited into my account. 2. Yes we are married and no it did not change how we handle money. 3. We decided this arrangement just last month. I had allowed him sole responsibility of paying bills and handling our money and I found out how bad he was at it.…
  • Took me till about week 22 to really feel movement before that I would think I would feel it but wasn't sure so I didn't count it.
  • Oh honey, I know exactly how you feel and unfortunately for me those feelings did not go away after my pregnancy. When I had my son I was not married to his father and I was very resentful that he got to do everything that I used to get to participate in I didn't have any friends in the area that were not his friends wives…
  • With my son they would not let me get up to go to the bathroom. If I had to go they wanted me to use a bedpan. This was hospital policy because a woman gave birth in a hospital toilet thinking she had to poop. Thankfully I never needed the bedpan and after I had the epidural I couldn't feel anything anyway.
  • She will be fine :) I am sure try to hold her in as long as you can. My sister was born at 33 weeks and I was born at 36 weeks and we are both fine. Good luck and keep us posted.
  • Unfortunately it is a side effect just be prepared with pads. I like the thin long pads. It seems like I have the same problem when I sneeze and since you never know when that will happen its best to be prepared.
