Aha, so you are behind it Gustaaf. Why don't I know about this challenge? I bookmarked the page and downloaded the picture, thanks

Wow what a difference! What kind of 30 day ab challenge was it?

Losing weight and thus fat becomes easier when you do strength training, so I wouldn't wait if I were you. Strength training also doesn't have to mean bulking and looking like a body builder.

Just see it in the right perspective: The less you got to lose, the less you will lose in a week! I think you're doing just fine and if the exercises make you feel good, why not! I know they say you shouldn't exercise that much and it is not needed, but just like you I love my workouts.

Bloat yes and water retention great part of the cycle! I went down from 225 pounds to 163, but when it started it went up with appr. 30 pounds again with the same diet. So frustrating to see al the determination and hard work from before is almost shattered by female hormones going berserk :grumble:

Same problem here!

I am in the perimenopause and 2 years ago I suddenly started to gain. In the end just over 30 pounds and the menopause still has to start. In the beginning of this year I lost appr. 6-7 pounds in 2 weeks by simply exercising and eating less calories. When people told me I should eat more, because of all my sporting I once…

I eat slowly and chew properly these days. This way tells me when I am full and should stop eating.

I bought one not so long ago and really had to get used my cup D is pressed a bit more flat. But with that being said I like it they are kept firmly in place without that annoying underwire, which always ends up pressing in my arm pits. I would love to have a few more of those! The one I bought was from Pierre Robert sport…

I think your Chiropractor can tell you, just ask him/her! Else maybe a bit of a walk for a start and see how that goes?

I don't laugh, it's one of my fears as well. I am in my 40s already and still need to have a lamp on when I go to sleep.

Totally this! A supplement is meant to supplement a proper diet, not to replace it! Besides most of the people I know who have been taking meal-replacing shakes, said all the same thing: after the diet was done and I started to eat normal again I gained everything + some extra pounds back! and this:

If you would eat foods which are triggers for her I can understand. If she can't resist them right now, then just don't eat them when she is around, but to her it is also to understand why she wants to lose weight, eating the same as you do will not help her and she can't expect everyone goes on the same diet with her,…

Pushing through doesn't have to mean overdoing it. I started with 10 minutes, then a week later with 15, then 20, etc... You can build up slowly as well if that gives you a better feeling. Exercise should make you feel better about yourself afterwards, not worse. Before you know it you come at a point where you are really…

Totally this! It is really not like in the 'Biggest loser' you have to continue till you puke. Just start slowly and gradually build it up. When I started working out I was pooped after 10 minutes of spinning already, now I can easily work out for 60 minutes and more.

Oh my gosh, that is just amazing! You surely are a great inspiration for many of us!

Nay! It takes me too long to undo the cheat day again, causing my weight to stall instead of losing. I can have a cheat hour perhaps so now and then, but a whole day does too much damage for me. Besides I enjoy the foods I eat, so I shouldn't see why I should have a cheat day.

Wow, my first goal is 25 KM for now, but who knows what I can achieve in the summer! When I practice inside I mostly watch a video on the computer, it helps me a lot not to quit early because of boredom.

Like myself...

A bit as a guide, but I don't stare myself blind on it, because it doesn't tell the difference between fat and muscle. Besides I have been checking more then one BMI calculator and they all gave different results.

Is that really fat or excess skin?
-
Nothing, the scale told me I got about 4 pounds off
