Killer info!

Giving up doesn't belong in my dictionary :) But yeah I have seen people who added me when I came here and that was about the last time I ever saw them. After 3 months I just remove them from my friends list.

OOOHHHHH someone has been naughty :drinker:
-
I got the same issue. Want to lose weight and wanting to quit the smoking. Good luck with that :)

Waves with both hands: ME! 45 I am, turning 46 in may, physically that is, still young in mind. And no I don't notice my body stopped responding on exercising, but I did notice dieting doesn't go so easy anymore...

The dishes need to be done :)

count me in and add me. 1.) chew my food better and thus eating slower 2.) exercising for about half an hour every day 3.) quitting smoking somewhere upcoming month (date not set yet)

I got allergies and histamine reactions, tho in my case it's mostly in the face and underarms. It can take from a few days up to a few weeks before that's completely gone. I would see a doctor if I were you and maybe do an allergy test, because allergies can be something to worry about!

I tried below 20 (keto) I gained and wasn't capable to workout properly anymore. I increased it to 40-50 now, losing weight and rock the gym. So I stick to that for now...

Type A blood: A meat-free diet based on fruits and vegetables, beans and legumes, and whole grains -- ideally, organic and fresh, because D'Adamo says people with type A blood have a sensitive immune system. Yeah right, I tried a vegan diet. Not only did I feel miserable and bloated, I also gained from it. Next to that I…

Wow fantastic, very inspiring!

I ditched it almost completely not so long ago. I am a true cheese addict, but to me it doesn't do any good, one piece of cheese and the scale hates me + can't say I feel too well with it. I guess that just differs per person. Some can handle the lactose and for some having diary in the Paleo/Primal diet is okay. I guess I…

Yeah, I keep on telling myself now it's time to think of my health instead of my addiction. It can't be the cigarettes are controlling my life, I should be in control!
-
So totally this! Don't wait, often tomorrow never comes. You're determined you start now!

I think keto and LCHF diets can work for certain people, but most def. not for everyone. I have heard it more often people can't exercise as well as they used to and some even gained from it. Dieting is just a personal thing, no one is the same hence all these different diets.
-
True! Once something works for me I tend to stick to the same and am not bothered by it.
-
This and some high impact aerobics + abs workout.
-
Odd... When people have the energy to work out, but not the energy to clean up afterwards? Guess it's too easy for them, if I was the owner I would drag them back to clean up their mess!
-
I think I go for this one! For sure most of the cigarettes we take is out of habit instead of really needing them. This looks like it may work for me, thanks!
-
I hear you. I had gut problems too and ended up with the diagnose IBS, but I was skeptical. I am close to Paleo as well and tadaaa gut problems gone! You're doing great and looking good!

I don't consider myself as fat, none actually because it sounds so negative to me, we're just bigger, but I do have overweight. For me it started when I lost my dog 2 years ago. Not only did I stop walking now she's not around anymore, I also started to fill the gap with food instead. I gained 15 kilos (appr 33 pounds) in…

Owwwww lucky you! I can imagine you want to look at your best for such a holiday. Good luck with your weight loss journey!
-
You know, it is silly actually. I used to have oxazepam in the past. That seems to be far worse when it comes to quitting. If I was capable to do that, I should be capable to quit smoking as well. I go for it!
-
Thank you Cindy! I do notice I got the sniffles very often, I recently had a sinus infection and it looks like it starts to bug me again. I bet the smoking got to do with that as well. My husband told me I make strange sounds when I sleep, like something in my throat is making a ticking sound and I wheeze frequently.

I was a total pepsi max addict. A little while ago I stopped drinking it and I must say my skin starts to look much better, less fine lines and not so dry and flaky anymore. About the artificial sweeteners I don't know so much, but I guess looks count as well?

Monkey: I just found 2 old e-cigs in my drawer( Earlier attempt, idea I think) they didn't work anymore  McCindy, that would be lovely if you got some information for me. I am afraid for those pills tho. I don't know if they are the same as we have in Sweden, those were packed full with side effects, almost worse…

Despite of what your husband says, what do you think? I can't imagine he's the only one who decides? After all we are talking here about your well being. Hospitals bills are more expensive and if they could have been prevented a true waste!
-
Hmz yeah I have been thinking just to bust my *kitten* off when ever I feel for smoking. This morning I had a cigarette right before workout and did it feel baddddd, same pyroclastic flow going on  Maybe I should set myself a goal, I want a home gym, because we don't have any gyms in the area. If I don't smoke I can…
-
In other words staying addicted  I don't see the point of that actually...
-
But true tho
