  • What a beautiful post - I love your attitude towards weight and getting healthy. Thanks for sharing!
  • I've seen your posts before and was always inspired by your photos - especially your smile in your "after" shot - you have such a beautiful smile! I'm really happy to see you've continued to maintain your loss and are staying healthy - you give all of us an extra dose of hope:flowerforyou:
  • Hi from Brunswick - I met a great friend through this group who's from Medina, but lives in Saudi Arabia now. She was back in the states a few months ago and my husband and I went to dinner with her and her husband. Both of us did C25K and we ran a 5K together, which was very cool! Anyone else in my vincinity feel free to…
  • My MFP friends are invaluable
  • Stupid double posts
  • I agree that while research and science are invaluable, we still have to be in tune with our bodies and brains. I know I have conditioned responses that may or may not correlate with published research - if I'm aggravated or overwhelmed, I want a Pepsi/Coke with lots of lemon and I want it NOW! After that, I'd like 6 more…
  • You are absolutely beautiful, and obviously very smart and determined to make the change - way to go!
  • Hi Dani - I'm so glad you found MFP because it does really help. Please add me as a friend if you would like as I would be happy to be supportive of you and have your support in return. There is an amazing gentleman on this site that I find to be so inspirational, and I know he wouldn't mind my sharing his information with…
  • :flowerforyou: I saw a post from you (I think several months ago) and you were looking wonderful back then. I'm so glad to see you're doing so well still! Even better, how nice that your kids are learning so many important things from you. What a good mom you are :flowerforyou:
  • I agree with you 100%! I have three greyhound rescues that are the most wonderful dogs. I'm fortunate to be self-employed and working at home, and I HATE when I have to go to a customer's for a few hours and leave them behind. They're my sanity in a world of craziness and I wouldn't trade them for the world. P.S. Retired…
  • Losing all that weight is amazing, but keeping it off despite adversity - that's truly inspirational. Thanks for sharing and all your encouragement. I'd wish you good luck, but you clearly don't need it - you MAKE all your good luck!:flowerforyou:
  • What a nice post - Thanks for taking the time to include all the detail and information! You've done a beautiful job taking control of your health and your life and are very inspiring. I am TOTALLY impressed by that 5K time even if you are wearing those groovy boots. That's probably about my time on rollerblades - not…
  • Excellent advice, and even better results - thanks for my morning eye candy. Always good to get this kind of candy on Halloween!!!
  • I love all the pictures - it's really neat to see the transformation. Beautiful dedication on your part with fantastic results. Best of all, look at that beautiful family there - all so proud of you and lucky to have you around for many years to come!
  • Oh my gosh, look at the beautiful model in picture #2!!!!
  • You really look great! Your English may not be so good, but your weight loss success is fantastic!
  • I'm so glad I happened to see your post! I've always loved following when you post updates and I must have missed some in between. I didn't know you were having the surgery, and I'm so happy things are going well for you. When I tell people about MFP and ask if it really does help, I like to tell people about you. Thanks…
  • First reaction....oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then after calming down......What a great story - thanks for taking the time to put it all down and sharing your journey. Now when your friend sees you he can say the same thing, but you'll be happy to hear it!
  • You are most definitely a member of the MFP hall of fame - you are absolutely gorgeous!!! I am so impressed by how quickly you've lost 225 pounds. I'm sure three years might have felt long at times, but to stay that dedicated for so long really speaks volumes about who you are as a person. I wish we could 'bottle you up'…
  • That's a beautiful thing! I went from an 18 to 16 and bought two pairs of jeans that are 16's over the weekend. They're a more fitted cut and I heard lots of "Wow, you look really skinny!" yesterday. That's a bit of a stretch of the imagination, but it's great to feel like your smaller. I wish I'd have thought to have kept…
  • I just read an interesting idea on a wordpress email. Quaker oatmeal (the kind that takes 5 minutes to prep) but use unsweetened vanilla almond milk instead. I had 1/2 cup of fruit to help with the blandness and it's actually very good and filling :)
  • You look so wonderful, and there's no denying that handsome boy is your son! Talk about resembling mom! He must be so proud of his momma! *Edited to say the above posters are right on - you definitely look younger!
  • Can I have your "man ab's" and "man thighs" too? - You look fantabulous!
  • Wow, you look fantastic! How very nice of you to pay it forward. Certainly karma will reward you, although I know that's not your motivation. Regarding the giveway - I hope it comes with a guarantee that my abs would look just like yours!
  • Just about every thing she said! The feeling of accomplishment you have once you get through the program is amazing. I still can't run the whole distance and need to take short walk breaks, but who cares? I'm entering 5K races and I'm not finishing last
  • :You are as smart as you are beautiful......and that makes you genius smart! I'm so glad you're figuring things out and living happy and healthy flowerforyou:
  • Great job with the weight loss! Regarding measurements, I have a hard time with consistency in measuring too. What I finally did was have my daughter double check that the tape measure was level all around the area I'm measuring, and I used landmarks to make sure I measure the exact same spot each time. For instance, you…
  • Keep on posing for us! You've done a beautiful job ~ how long did it take your heart rate to lower and what were you doing that brought it down?
  • @Nocturnal - Angie
  • Clothes from Cache - love so much of the clothes in their store, but I'll have to be a size 9 to make any of it look good~
