  • I'm so glad you asked! I think the reason MFP works is because the focus of most of the people on here is to move towards healthy changes in food and activity. Most diets "work" in the sense that if you follow them, you lose weight. But if they truly worked, many more of us would have been at our goal weight a long time…
  • Gisselle, you look absolutely fabulous and really have a great story to tell. I'm so glad you were able to use healthy changes to bring your self new confidence and happiness. That makes what you've accomplished all the better. Thanks so much for your efforts to move towards vegan. I am a huge animal lover myself, and one…
  • My goodness, not only did you shave of a whole person between the two of you, you've shaved YEARS off of your appearance! You both look wonderful and must be loving the fact that you did it together - how cool is that????
  • That's some of the best progress and dedication I've ever seen - I hope you and everyone in your life is extremely proud of all you've accomplished! Your workout routine and typical diet sound picture perfect, and I'm sure you're an inspiration to everyone you meet - you sure are for me! Please be sure to post again, as it…
  • Now there's something women all over America would kill to be able to do - you do look great. Here's the neat part....I bet ten, twenty, thirty, forty, and fifty years from now you'll be able to fit in that same suit and still look better than the 20 year olds!
  • : I'm thinking these folks are right on - it sounds like you're exercising away everything you eat. You do look absolutely fantastic and should feel so proud! What an amazing accomplishment flowerforyou:
  • Fortunately I got to tears only once during a workout - unfortunately it was while working with the personal trainer (who is a guy). Ran to the bathroom before he could see then told him I had to throw up. Need to avoid that again at all costs!!!
  • What time is dinner at your house???? I'm half way there!!! @cynful - Other ladies have noted they do get stalkers (not so much spammers) - annoying as they may be, at least it says you're looking so fine they can't begin to resist contacting you!
  • yup...get up, pee, and then naked to the scale!
  • Been there for sure....You won't ever 'quit' because you know how important this is for you and for your family (the kids will learn by example from you and your husband). I didn't get to look at your diary, but if you're running too low you will certainly sabotage all your hard work. Be sure you're eating enough…
  • LOL! Love it! If you're old enough you might remember... and she told two friends, who told two friends, who told to friends, and so on, and so on, and so on............that's what we need to do and we'll all be successful

  • Welcome back, and much success in your final, successful attempt! I'm impressed you live in Amish country and don't weigh 500lbs. Sadly, to me Amish country is synonomous with homestyle cooking at Der Dutchman Restaurant. Here's the good news....you're in your 40's and have a profile pic that attracts spammers. May I one…
  • That is a huge accomplishment - fantastic!!!

  • I'm fortunate to have a really well equiped gym 5 minutes from home - locally owned - I think I paid $99 up front and $25/month and that's with tanning capsule included (yes, I know...bad for my skin)
  • You are totally incredible!!!! Given how well you did on the initial goal, I'm thinking we'll be seeing you on the cover of a fitness magazine if you tackle weight training next
  • Oh my gosh, you are completely, totally beautiful! - and your weight loss is wonderful too! I especially love your profile pic as you look so healthy, radiant and happy. Please be very proud because you are amazing and inspiring :flowerforyou:
  • You look BEAUTIFUL! I just came across your blog and it's great that you've added weights in, and I'm glad you beat the work benefits people at their own game
  • Fantastic progress, and great job sticking with your efforts. It can be so hard to restart (speaking from all too much personal experience). There's something about your smile in your current photo that makes me think you feel happier with yourself and where you're going - much success to you!!!!
  • ????? What organizations do they support that deny people rights? I know they promote the rights of cows in their ads but I'm not in the know about what you're saying - care to elaborate? To the OP, I appreciate your sharing a food trip and my question is in no way a contradiction of what your saying - just curious what…
  • Those are FABULOUS results in two months - ignore the naysayer - you look much healthier and more tone and are doing fantastic! Keep up the fine work :drinker:
  • Thanks Aperture - and I love your profile pic!
  • How fantastic! That's a great loss for 6 months! You must have been very dedicated and worked hard to stick to healthy eating. No doubt you'll be excellent at maintaining :flowerforyou:
  • I'm very happy with my 42D's, but wish they would go back up to where they used to be (before childbirth and gravity took their toll). I would like to see what I can do about moving them back up once I've lost my weight and kept it off for a year. So far I'm down 35lbs total (26 on MFP) and nothing has come off of them.…
  • Boy do you look fantastic!!! I love the long hair and that bikini is perfect for you in both color and style. I also have to say you give me hope that my bikini top will look that good when I'm done! So glad you've been so successful, and thanks for the inspiration :flowerforyou:
  • Fantastic! MFP and the C25K may be great, but the "best thing" is you following through and doing so well! :flowerforyou:

  • Wow, beautiful!!! The best part of your weight loss is that you look so much more fit, too ~ and I LOVE the long hair :flowerforyou:
  • You look BEAUTIFUL....RADIANT....HAPPY....GLOWING....and full of life. Not to mention so much younger and totally healthy. What a great, inspirational job. Thanks so much for sharing! :flowerforyou:
  • That was the second thing I noticed too (after noticing how fantastic you look) Isn't it great that you were in that gym taking your photo rather than in McDonald's taking the picture? Beautiful!
  • You must be so happy! Some people will always say dumb things like, "Oh, you should have done more situps" - get real. When you have skin with stretching like this plastic surgery (or more as needed like in your case) is a reasonable solution - not just for asthetics, but for comfort too! I'm sure that nausea and pain will…
  • Man, are you looking good!!! No one in your town will have to ask "where's the beef"!:blushing:
