  • Reminds me of the old Queen song - I can hear it in my head: "Bicycle, bicycle... I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride it where I like..."
  • For me it would be a housekeeper....I spend too much time working and the last thing I want to do with my minimal spare time is housework.
  • I used to sneak the cherries out of the Maraschino cherry jar....so sugary good....I still eat my daughter's off her ice cream sundaes if she doesn't want it
  • What a cool pic!!! Congrats on an amazing job so well done!
  • #1 - Chitlins' (sure I'm spelling that wrong) - I almost vomited in a patient's home once when I went out to do a home visit on a NICU baby Christmas Eve. I don't think the smell left my hair until New Years Day! #2 - Snails #3 - Oysters
  • Man oh man I had to get out the fire extinguisher to stop my computer from smoking!!!! You look fabulous! Time to take a martial arts class so you can fight off the gazzillion men that will be chasing you down
  • That reminds me....you know you really need to boost your protein intake, and I noticed you're not drinking enough, and you're doing those exercises all the wrong way with bad form, and if you would just drink more wine you would lose weight, and....... People can be so funny....I generally say something like, "well…
  • Mantucky??? Gee, that sounds a lot like where I live, affectionately known as "Brunstucky" (or Brunswick according to the technically correct maps)
  • Man, you are looking fantastic!!!! I've seen an earlier post by you and it's great to see your continued progress. I can't even imagine how many people you inspire! I have one request.......keep posting updates and keep using those gym photos.....I openly admit to loving those muscles!!!! :blushing:
  • I'm thinking the only "NO" response you'll get to this question will be from a man By the way....put me down for a big YES
  • Hello Fellow Ohio Folks - My name is Anita ~ I grew up in Parma, and have lived in Cleveland, Valley City, and Medina. It seems like the Dayton/Cininnati area is much better represented than the Cleveland Area. Best of luck to you all in your new healthy lifestyles, and feel free to friend if you'd like. Please add a note…
  • Hmmmmm......current car...blend into the parking lot black Sonata First car.....Plymouth Fury....so now we're close to Christine!
  • That sure would be nice. One of my MFP friends was travelling and was a mile from my house but didn't realize until later that I where I lived....she may be back in town (travel for kid's sports) so hopefully we can hook up!
  • I knew she was going to say that  ......I weigh as much as I do (thank God for being tall)
  • Thanks for such a nice post - It takes two seconds to do something nice for someone else...compliment them, hold the door, wave them to go first at a stop sign, take their shopping cart back into the store when you're headed that way anyhow...and those are just little things that don't cost anything. If more people were…
  • Bumping and hoping for more :)
  • I haven't read any of the books, and I'm really glad I hadn't. So many times watching a movie after reading a book can be frustrating. I found this movie to be one of the best I've seen in a long time. Obviously the story and it's meaning are great, but so many other things were so well done in my opinion. I hope they win…
  • I hope we both win....then there'll be a great animal sanctuary in West Texas and in Ohio....with franchises all over the nation. almost all of my $$$ would go to family, friends and charity. A gift like that in your life is meant to be shared~
  • That's really fantastic! I watched the 30 day shred before buying and really thought it would be easier than it is. Unfortunately, I've lacked the committment to stick with it for the full 30 days. I really need to bring it back out of storage. I tried to do it with the couch to 5K program and that was a challenge. I'm…
  • Chelle, I can't thank you enough for posting this. I bought an order (came in a bunch of bags) when I saw a link on an MFP add. The first time I made them they were tolerable - I don't even remember what I did to make them. I will definitely try your dry fry and check out your recipies. The thought of being able to eat…
  • WOW WOW WOW!!!! That's one heck of an anniversary present for both yourself and your spouse
  • This is such a wonderful story. You personify all of the "right" things for healthy weight loss. You eat well, skip most of the junk keep the fruits and veggies going, and mix up your cardio and lifting. Time for a new career as a health coach!!!
  • You really look great! However, you can't call them "belly photos" when you don't have a "belly" left
  • It's not as easy to tell on body changes (loose clothes and a different stance) but your face shows a GREAT loss!
  • That's a huge difference for only five pounds - Glad you're having such good success
  • Brunswick (affectionately known as Brunstucky) - just 20 minutes south of Cleveland. Family Circle even named us best place to raise a family one year - in wintery Ohio - couldn't believe it!
  • Love to see dogs getting healthy along with their 'mom'. They are such cuties! I have two greyhounds who are skinny enough already. One won't eat if there's storms, someone different comes to the house, it's raining, there's air in the room....I hope he doesn't disappear from walking with me!
  • That is really incredible - you sure did have some great dedication and accomplished so much in such a short time. How is it that you only have one MFP friend when you're so good at this??? Best of luck with your future runs!
  • Hi All, I'm feeling very happy this morning and wanted to share with my 'new' friends. This morning my very sweet, wonderful, kind scale didn't groan when I stepped on it and it said 199 pounds. I got below 200 last year around May or Junes, but then lost my drive and have been up and down with the same 5-10 pounds. I've…
  • Hi All, My name is Anita and I've had the chance to read through the book and skimmed some parts again the other day. I've always loved lifting and I'm lucky in that my muscles seem to respond and develop really quickly. I've been very hit or miss at the gym (and with the eating plan) and I really need to have a plan like…
