Absolutely incredible results!!!!! (and a very nice bike in your ticker, too!) You're an inspiration to us all!
-
Wow!!! You are the poster girl for transformation and turnaround!!! You must be so proud
-
I can see a difference in the neck, triceps, and waist. Hang in there!!!!

I'm right there with you, Jessica. I did pretty darn well for about a month, and now I find myself floundering with little "cheats" here and there. It seems I always self-sabotage. I think I feel denied and deprived and need to learn to live with those feelings somehow. Therein lies the challenge! I always liked the…

What great pictures!!! You look so happy in your "after" picture. I LOVE the picture on your ticker - you have great definition in your deltoids and throughout your back. With results like that, it's no wonder you're willing to do two workouts today!!!
-
That is a great NSV! I bet it's a wonderful feeling to run out of belt in that direction instead of the OTHER direction!
-
Look at those abs under that tatoo!!! You go!!!
-
You look totally fantastic!!! And running, too - kudos to you for the weight loss and the activity level!!!

I love salmon, too. If you have a Costco membership, the frozen bags with 7oz portions works out well $$$ wise. Salmon is very healthy, however there are risks in eating large quantities of it when it's farm raised as opposed to wild caught. Even wild caught can have issues if the waters have higher levels of contaminants.…

You can really see the difference - But you didn't post the most impressive part: You quit smoking while you did this!!!!! THAT IS FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Good luck on the P90X - I'm hoping to tackle that after a month or two of regular workouts (need to get a little endurance going).
-
If you could figure out how to bottle that "lost 10lbs from my gut" thing you'd be a very rich man!
-
BUMP.... So nice to see all these Before/Afters in one thread - thanks for sharing with those of use who aren't far enough along for pics just yet :)
-
Don't worry about a thing...we can all see the difference very clearly :) If you have a hard time seeing it, try pulling up both pictures on your computer screen side by side and there won't be any way NOT to see the difference! Keep up the fantastic effort!
-
You look so BEAUTIFUL!!! I was just looking at your profile pics, and I love the one with your daughter in one leg of your pants - how cute! Congrats on the great upper arms and calf muscles, too! You have so many scale and NSV's to be proud of! What a motivator!
-
Best of luck to you! I have one of those August birthdays, and it sure would be sweet to be feeling fine by then!
-
Let me add my OOOOHHHHHHH MMYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! I don't know if there's a listing for "Eye Candy" in MFP, but now there will need to be! Seriously, you've done an amazing job. Please tell you're girlfriend she has nothing to worry about. She has your heart, the rest of us just smiled at your pics

You were so right....that WAS worth the "weight"!!! What a beautiful job you've done. You look so beautiful in your pictures!
-
Okay, at 5'5" you must weigh about 120 in that last picture, not 153! You not only shredded it, you stomped it, smashed it, and kicked it out to the curb!!!
-
It is a "waste", isn't it! The difference is VERY clear in all of your pictures. You are doing an AMAZING job - I agree with the other poster who is looking forward to seeing your next set of 90 day photos! Keep up the great work:smile:

Thanks to all of you for being so inspiring. I have dreams where I'm running long distances and it feels so good, but when I try to run I get so short of breath after about 15 houses (I keep track in houses...add one more 'house' of distance each time I would run). Unfortunately, the Ohio snow put a damper on my effort to…

Agreed - you look absolutely fantastic. Maybe I need to get a Mardi Gras costume and I'll look that good, too!
-
You look FANTASTIC!!!! Are you SURE you only lost 34 lbs? Looks like much more than that - you must be so proud and should feel even more motivated by your incredible results :)

Plan to clean your whole house after you take it....you'll have the burst of energy/alertness. Unfortunately, it also made sure that I woke up about 20 times a night. I had to stop taking it after about 5 days because I couldn't think clearly or drive safely from lack of sleep. If you want to go with a medicine, I'd…

Hmmmm....seems to be a lot of us IBS-C folks around! I wanted to dress in black for a month when they took Zelnorm off the market. I've tried Amitiza but it doesn't work for me...everything gets churned up, but doesn't go anywhere. I'm going to give the Mirilax a go (bad pun) and see if that helps. Fortunately, I have a…

I don't think God would mind if you make a change in your Lent plans. Instead of giving up a food item, how about giving of your time for a needy cause? Many people have shifted to this type of sacrifice, as it allows you to help others while meeting your own personal goal of sacrifice as a sign of faith. Talk to God about…

I can believe you feel much better! Congrats on your success. Sometimes people mistakenly think it's "easy" to lose after surgery, but it's not. As a nurse I saw several patients who didn't succeed because they didn't put any effort into their eating/exercise. Obviously, you've done what you need to. Keep up the good work…

I love this line: " I'd keep reminding myself during moments of temptation that the first few bites of anything always taste the best so only have a couple bites and stop. " You are so right about that, and I need to try to adopt that strategy...thanks for framing it in such a nice way...let me put away those York…

You know what's neat about your before and after pictures? You look happy in BOTH of them. The 3rd link with the side shot is just amazing! Great (and inspiring) job!

Hi Angela - Getting through that first day can be so hard (sounds ridiculous to those without food issues, but it's true). Promise yourself you can do one day. Plan healthy foods for each of your meals/snacks that you enjoy for that first day. Drink a lot of water with your meal and between meals. Just do that one…

Way to Go!!! Now you can change your sign to read "Carpe Bracae" ... Sieze the Pants :)
