I used to dip boiled eggs into mustard. Now I have an addiction to golden peppercinis. There's got to be something better than high calorie nuts. I'm looking for ideas too. Hmmm, pickled okra. Sriracha goes well on so many things... black cherry pickles...have to look that one up

Pasta! Now I won't waste my daily calories on it. Besides, a serving, which is 1/2 cup (!!!!) would neeeevvverrrr be enough. I could eat a big bowl, and then another, and then later maybe another. good grief!

I just loved all food, ever since I was a kid. I snuck food, and ate weird things that others wouldn't: pasta with plain tomato sauce. grapefruit with salt. cake mix/water chopped carrots with lemon juice and Buttermilk Hidden Valley dressing who eats that way!! I'd eat all the Dole Spinach off my friend's cafeteria plates…

Me too. Mom went through the Depression with little food, and love was a plate piled high, seconds were OK.

Thanx for reminding me about peanut butter, good toasted bread and bananas for breakfast. I am sick of eggs, and now am doing muesli and almond milk. When I get sick of that I'll need another choice. I just hope I can keep my mitts off the peanut butter jar late at night. Sigh.

French toast! How could I forget? Sounds relish.

Lately muesli and almond milk. Nice and chewy. If I'm not hungry it's because I ate a lot at night--for me not a good sign. I used to have egg and toast. It would keep me until noon. Sometimes I'd make a veggie omelet.

This is a great topic for me, because I'm a teacher who eats in her classroom and gets bored thinking of what to take, how to pack it, etc. I have one more month off, and this is what I had for lunch. The other half of sandwich will be a snack. I have to fill my plate, or this will be just another diet, instead of a way of…

Growing up in a tense family we all had to sit down at 6 pm for meals. Very tense, controlling. So for years I avoided it. I live alone now, and recently got everything off the table and moved into the den, and brought out some nice dishes my mother gave me. I now try to sit down and eat and pay attention instead of…

I eat a big breakfast most days and it a great help with weight loss. If I don't have time then I try for a filling lunch, maybe a large sandwich: whole wheat seed bread, cheese for protein and lots of my favorite veggies.

Huh?

Chocolate ice cream and chez-its! I didn't know anyone ever ate that combo but me. But of course...

I'm intrigued by the frozen bandanna in the blender : ^ D

The birds. But the Byrds would be good too.

I had a chopped veggie salad with edame and feta for protein. For dressing I mix up several. Today's was lime juice, balsamic vinegar, Trader Joe's nonfat Balsamic and TJ Champagne Pear. I look for dressings where a serving, 2 TB, is under 40 calories. I like TJ's low-fat Cilantro dressing also. I used Trader Joe's 8…

I'd go every day if my feet would let me--maybe as I get lighter : D Walking up the local Mt. "Ruby" and it is overcast--yay! [img

You're not alone. I walk several times a week, but I limp all day afterwards. I think I've tried every 'shoe fix' on the planet. My favorite exercises are low impact, since walking hurts so much. And I love to walk!! I never saw this coming when I was younger. I thought it would be my knees that would give out, not my feet.

Now I drink low fat chocolate milk every night instead of my glass of wine. I might have to try that! Wine makes me want to eat. Thanx for the idea

Walked an hour on a local mountain, and then took some time to plate a breakfast. I've really got to learn to make prettier frittatas. Bell peppers and tomatoes from the garden; cold crunchy sesame broccoli was sautéed yesterday, and goes well with the hot eggs. [img Let's see if this pic posts

Love these pix

So true!! It sounds to me, as I read and reread the original post, that the guy has found motivation and is enthusiastic. I can understand the woman wanting time alone, and maybe at this point he is acting a bit clingy and puppyish, but I'd just say "Get lost, Buster, leave me alone for now. I love you!" --and then put in…

Kick his *kitten*, it'll be a good workout : D

Simply Obsessed Frozen Coconut Mango Pops I'm going to buy a popsicle maker today (the best one I can find, not just the flimsy ones I used to buy) just to make these! Thanx.

Go easy on yourself!! For me, MFP means I don't have to beat myself up again! Take a little walk, listen to something that makes you feel good. Slow down, and say no to people that go a zillion miles an hour and want you to be as stressed as they are! I take a stretch yoga class twice a week, and walk, and clean house.…

You are welcome to add me

Not my prettiest, but it filled up the plate and tasted good! Let's see if I can post a pic. . . [img That's potato and feta on the right. Am I really eating corn and potatoes on a diet???? Pinch me.

I'll bet your dog is happier too : D

I love walking. Right now I have heel pain so I have to limit it, and take days off. I used to hike up a local hill daily. It is paved, with two ways to go--steep or leisurely climb. I'd go steep and it would take about an hour to get up and down. Lots of people would walk it 6-6, and I'd see many people with their canine…
