Doesn't sound like love, but I don't know the whole story. Did he nag you to do something and you didn't, or took too long? Lose weight the healthy way, and see how you feel about him then. My knee-jerk reaction is: lose the weight, take him back, then cruelly dump him, the way he dumped you. Not good advice, though.

run/walk. find a fun/beautiful/interesting place to walk. Try one of the apps coach to 5K. maybe I will too. I think you'll find that the smoking phases out after awhile. That's how I quit smoking with no effort, huffing and puffing my way up a local hill all summer long. Pretty soon I just wasn't smoking any more. Run…

Now you know darn well you're not supposed to run from critters, as you trigger their 'must chase' instinct.

Start small! log your foods and learn about portions, calories, protein. Just logging your foods is an education. Take it easy, but make a start. Be here for the long term. this is a way of life. As for exercise, that is fitness, a different category than meal plans. Some people on this site barely exercise! Some are…

I'm going to get some warm clothes and walk 1/2 hour in the evening when I get home. I don't rise early anymore, and it has to be something in the evening. I don't care for gyms. I do love classes but can't do impact. So I'm still looking/thinking.

Perhaps giving advice (telling people what to do) is not the way to go. Maybe say 'this is what I do, and look at where I am after months of doing it.' And if they still persist in their crazy **** write them off as 'unteachable.' I'm beginning to notice that there are some people in this million plus community that have…

I take one string cheese to work with me as a snack. It's wrapped, it's good out of the fridge a few hours, and it is around 80 calories. I used Feta chunks or cubes for chopped salads, Greek salads. If i had cheddar in the house it would call my name at night. So for now... no cheddar.

IMO and family experience there is a genetic predisposition to addiction/alcoholism. My first was food. There were times in my life when was around people who drank a lot, so I drank a lot. Who you hang out with can be extremely influential. I learned an enormous amount from 12-step groups. I found a morning group with a…
