I'm up very late every night so I'm practically in UK time. ;) I log and exercise daily, and anyone is free to send me a friend request! :D

Some issues I have noticed: 1. Aversion to objective scientific discussion. Discussions usually end with subjective experiences countering scientific research including "Well I FEEL fabulous after the detox/cleansing/etc diet." or "I was able to look like <photo.jpg> with my one weird trick and I don't need your peer…

I've used forums since the early 90s on usenet before there were many forums on the web. I've seen people go to holy war arguing about text editors. Nothing surprises me anymore. Except youtube comments. Those can inflict brain damage via TCP/IP. :explode:

They go to the MFP Chit-Chat, Fun, and Games forum where they have to answer such gems as "Pass, Hug, Spank, Dance, Marry or Date", "Person above: meh, beautiful/handsome, or just plain sexy!", "person above you: mean or friendly, based on profile pic", "person above: naked, swim suit, or clothed?","Would the Person Above…

I grew up in Los Angeles. If I let bullet holes stop me from going to a place, I would never have left the house.

Thankfully I'm not constrained by the little voice that stops one from saying foolish things.

There's just too many sixes there. I'd be careful if I were you! :noway:

These posts are dangerous because these are some absolutely great ideas !!

Me too!! My wife asked me why pizza is my most favorite food of all time and upon serious reflection I replied that it has three of my favorite things 1. bread 2. cheese 3. cured meats such as pepperoni and salami. If I had to choose 2 of the 3, I'd choose bread and cheese. If I had to choose one, I'd choose bread.…

I haven't tried to see if I can handle Chips Ahoy cookies yet. I used to eat them half a box at a time. I loved all of them, the crunchy ones doused in milk, the chewy ones, ones with m&ms. I'm going to close by browser window now and think about other stuff.

This thread seems to have brought back a repressed memory for me. One of the strangest things I've ever seen was this gentleman who was completely nude, sporting a full erection and supporting his penis on the sink counter, while brushing his teeth. Big thanks for bringing back that memory. I though I had used sufficient…

That's a rather BIG assumption there. :noway:

In Tokyo, Shinjuku to be more precise, there is a Shakey's pizza that has an all you can eat pizza option. It's not a buffet table (like their other locations). You can keep order pizzas and one time I think I ate 5 or 6 "large" pizzas. In my defense, their large is a bit smaller than the US medium. Don't judge me, I don't…

Sprouts Farmers Market has some excellent almond butter. I've never tried the sunflower seed butter, but I will.

Peanut butter is healthy and I refuse to hear anything that states otherwise. After a workout, especially one that involves weights, my go to snacks involve a combination of cheese and peanut butter. I try to stick to one or two spoonfuls. :drinker:

I don't want to be THAT guy, but I will anyway. If you're going to put the "Your sooo CUTE......... for a big girl -_-" line in your profile, it may be a good idea to change the your to you're.

I have no idea what you're getting at, and honestly, I'm not sure it matters at this point.

Nothing is perfect and there will always be people taking advantage of any given situation. And sometimes trying to fix the problem costs more time and money than accepting that a given solution is only going to be 95% effective. And if there is anything my posts are implying it's that the costs associated with the tiny…

I don't think that anyone said that everyone on food stamps is struggling. On the other hand, I would say that the majority of people on food stamps are struggling.
-
For starters I don't see how how food stamps are a problem that need to be handled. So a small portion of the federal budget is spent on making sure poor people don't starve, and a few of them end up living the luxurious life of having access to coca cola. I'm OK with that. As for health care costs, the main driver of…

Because the government has control of fiat currency and government spending is completely different than household spending.
-
You should worry about whatever you like to worry about. And health insurance being 30% of your monthly budget? I would say that my point of view is that we should be more concerned with bringing health insurance costs down rather than worry that someone uses their food stamps to buy soda.
-
As an aside, only about 12% of the federal spending goes to safety net programs. And if you're worried about poor people spending that $1 on a bottle of soda, take note that each JASSM missile costs $1.327 million. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JASSM

Woah there. Take it easy there tiger. I never said the military didn't have its drawbacks. The military is a great social welfare program for those wanting to improve their situation, get their education paid and have great consulting opportunities with defense contractors when they get out. It's probably the best 'jobs…

It's not a problem. It is in fact, all good. :drinker:

I figured that was a typo and they meant guy instead of gay.
