So... Today was an interesting challenge. I decided to go for a run, and headed out with the intention of making it 5 or 6 miles, but then it got dark and I got lost. So I ended up running a little over 8 miles instead. This and an Insanity workout (around midnight) made it possible to indulge in a guilt-free big pasta…

And by 148 bpm, I meant 48.

And great work everyone! You're my inspiration.:drinker:

Alright. Here it goes... Thing to be proud of today: It's been a long day--mostly because I didn't sleep last night since I was up studying for a calculus test. Tonight before my workout, I decided to find out what my average Resting Heart Rate was running at these days (148 bpm), just to help quantify my base fitness…

And cheers to everyone here for doing such a good job! Go Team Awesome!

Today, I did an Insanity workout and ran 5 hilly miles. Wasn't feeling like exercising, and definitely WAS feeling like eating until I couldn't move, but I persevered--mostly cuz I knew I'd have to answer to you fine folks. Thanks for being there. Did I stay within my calorie budget today? I did. Did I exercise for at…

Hope your kids are feeling better! Glad you're still in it.

I'm in the same boat. It's difficult for me to do more than 2 or 3 days of sticking to my guns if I'm going it alone. Since starting, I've logged faithfully and exercised when I said I would for 5 days straight (going on six! :D). I even made my food diary something my friends could see, because I want to be more…

And I did an Insanity workout. It's more impressive, because it was the last thing in the world I wanted to do at that moment (short of pulling out my eyes and feeding them to my dogs). :noway: Did I stay within my calorie budget today? Yes Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes Did I keep track of everything I ate…

I did my Insanity workout today. :) Did I stay within my calorie budget today? Yup. Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Indeed. Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? No doubt!

@ tlacox1: Still, way to be honest with yourself! That's key. We all slip up, and you'll get back on the horse in no time. There's a good group going on for losing 15 lbs by the holidays. If you're into charting and quantifying, the group leader uses a google spreadsheet that you input your own data onto. Food for thought,…

Today, I ran 7 hilly miles and biked to work and back. My goal for time spent exercising 40+ minutes daily, and I know we're only 3 days in... ...but I've managed to beat my goal each day! And it hasn't felt like as big and awful of a task as usual. This group is really motivating! Maybe part of my daily goal will be to…

That's a proud comparison. :) Those pictures are super-motivating. Way to set goals and stick with them!

Did I stay within my calorie budget today? Yeah!!! Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yeah!!! Yeah!!! Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yeah!!! Yeah!!! Yeah!!!

Good work, Lady! That's a beautiful and inspiring show of determination and will power.

Did I stay within my calorie budget today? I surely did. Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Indeed. Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Heck yeah!
