The fats found in the avocado and tuna are not bad fats, so it isn't as big a deal to go over with those. The turkey is also very lean. Stay away from sat fats and trans fats! A little fat for breakfast isn't bad, it's satiating. What is it you want for dinner that doesn't fit in the 9-13 gram range?

You need to be eating within an hour of waking up. And the best food to eat is protein (egg whites, peanut butter, etc) and whole grains (oat meal, toast, etc.).

To some extent I experience this myself. But if I were put in the basement until I was beautiful, I would just get fat and ugly. You have to get out into the world. If I was locked in the basement I wouldn't have any motivation to get hot... and you know what? Dancing is fantastic for burning calories! So go shake what…

I don't take anything for weight loss, muscle building, or energy. I do take: multivitamin prescription fish oil

Michelle! I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy your honeymoon as much as you should have. Stick w/ MFP and you'll be feeling great for your 1 year!

If you are consistently under by 400, just eat more often or slightly bigger snacks. An ounce of nuts goes a long way!

Great job ACarps!!!

Now that's an awesome friend and a great gift!

Hi! and to this great site! Jump right in and you'll meet lots of really good people here. :-)

You don't mention the type of infection, but mention a urologist. I don't see why a UTI would be worsened by a little exercise. That said, if you're genuinely concerned, take the day off.

lol!

Excellent work! Maybe since you're so close to your goal you might have more success with making your goal .5 or 1 lb a week instead of 1.5. Keep up the good work!!!

This isn't Vietnam or the Gulf War, no hiding! I want to be ogled every now and then!

The way I eat Subway it isn't healthy. You need to just check the nutritional info at the restaurants you're likely to hit up. There's no blanket answer.

how you doin! Girls have never noticed me, so I'll have to put on a fake muscle suit and see if I get any flirting. ;-)

Hi! I'm not sure what a carvery is specifically, but it sounds like a place where there's lots of meat! :-) For red meat, bison is a great option. If you have to have cow here's what you want: 1) filet (low fat, tasty, expensive) 2) sirloin (a little fattier, still yummy if prepared right, and much more affordable), then…

I haven't made 'em that way, but I do love enchiladas!

As long as you fuel your workouts properly, you can burn thousands of calories without a problem.

Ladybug, You don't just wake up and decide to walk a marathon that morning. Before you do a marathon you should be able to walk 10 miles. And before you get to 10 miles, you have to be able to do 1! Your friend clearly doesn't know what they're talking about. Focus on increasing your endurance and stamina and you'll get to…

, MFP is awesome!

Every time you post, this happens. Because you are so small, you should consider talking to a nutrition specialist to advise you on whether or not below 1200 is safe for you.

If you can't control it, don't keep it around. Don't stock your pantry with crap food and don't go out to eat until you can handle the temptation. Do recovering alcoholics go into bars? No, but eventually they can be around booze again. Everyone has to eat, but no one has to eat poorly. Binge on broccoli, it takes an awful…

I have to agree here. Right before I went to college, for some reason (or probably many reasons), I was in the target range for my weight/BMI. Looking back at pictures, "wow I was kinda skinny!" But what do I remember about that? That even when finding out I was not "overweight" I still had a gut and felt just as…

Hey, I was born there! Welcome to MFP... it's really a fantastic community.
