I think I have been green on sodium once. It is my arch nemesis. Of course, Wednesday is date night and we're going out for bowling and pizza... I will do my absolute best to keep it green!

I'm worth it. That's what I remind myself when I just don't feel like it or when I would rather just give in to food. I am worth putting an effort into how I treat my body. I'm worth it. I am worth it.

Yesterday ended up well for me, I got my yoga in early in the day and then ended up over at a close friend's and instead of just walking the neighborhood we went to a local park and "chased ghosts" through an app on her phone for 45 minutes. It was pretty fantastic and didn't even feel like we were working out until we got…

Ahh, Mark. It's like you knew I set myself up for a REALLY active month exercise-wise and you just want to get the ball rolling for me... My challenge doesn't fall within the time guidelines necessarily, but I WILL be giving 110% when it comes to effort, and by following through with this week, I will set myself up for a…

  Thanks!! Ended it out at 183 minutes for the week... WOOHOO.
-
Dude, that is freaking AWESOME. Seriously, and in only two months?! You freaking ROCK.
-
Awesome!! Cari, thank you so much for taking the initiative and getting the ball rolling for this. I LOVE the name, by the way! I'm so excited to see this group come together.

Oh my goodness your Fender sounds like an awesome little bundle of energy. And Noodle sounds like my brother's cat - she wants nothing to do with people unless it's on her terms.

Hey y'all! So I typically prefer to weigh in on Sundays, so I'm going to use this morning's weight as my 'starting weight' for the month since there are 5 Sundays this month. SW:301.8 CW: 299 GW: 292 LTGW: Undetermined Week 1: 09/08/13: Week 2: 09/15/13: Week 3: 09/22/13: Week 4: 09/29/13:

There is a group for those who need to lose 100+, it's found here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/15651-let-s-lose-100 It's not female exclusive though, so I'm not sure if that's what you were aiming to do, if so I think you'd need to make one. I would definitely join if you did :-)

This.

When you set your activity level and weight loss goals (1 lb/week, for example), it gives you a calorie goal that will allow you to lose that much each week without exercising... So when you exercise, you are allowed to eat those calories back, which MFP encourages, and you will still lose that 1 pound a week as long as…

If I swung that way.

I did too, actually. Winding down my Historical Archetypes and Mythology class and I've quite enjoyed it. However, I still like to find reasons to procrastinate!

GREAT job not giving in to temptation, Holly! Especially when you're not feeling well. I hope that you're able to rest and relax and get the rest your body needs to recover. Sorry you're having a cruddy weekend, though :-(

Oh! Dward, she is precious... Hope her health is doing well! She looks like she is just a total sweetheart.

I want a kitty so so badly!! I will have one eventually, just have to convince my other half that HE wants one, too. English bullmastiffs are gorgeous!! We have too small of a home to have a larger breed, unfortunately.

I have a Taylor brand as well, this one to be exact: http://www.taylorusa.com/weight-management/glass-electronic-scales/glass-lithium-electronic-scale.html I picked it up at Wal-Mart for $25, it weighs up to 440lbs and measures to .2 of a lb. So far, it seems to be working well for me.

I tend to fluctuate, sometimes I'll be up a pound or so, but I don't really let it get to me. I have found that if I am making sure to get plenty of water in, I don't see as much of a gain during, and I also feel a lot less bloated.

I'm on the road to losing about 150 pounds, give or take, and would love anyone who is willing to be a motivational, encouraging friend. I will do my best to do the same!

Anyone feel like fueling my procrastination? Anyone at all? Bueller... Bueller... -sigh- Fine. I guess I'll go read Gilgamesh.
-
Hi Amanda! I sent you a request, I log daily, keep an open journal, and try really hard to be supportive, and love having friends who do the same.

I sent you a request, I love being able to support and motivate people. Anyone please feel free to add me, I do my best to support and be uplifting to my friends.

Here are another couple of super easy items that I love. PARMESAN CRUSTED CHICKEN CUTLETS 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated 2 tablespoons dried Italian seasoned breadcrumbs 1/8 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1…

Here's one I found through a friend that I have come to love - it's a one pot dish, and it seriously takes almost no effort to make. Plus side? It stores well in the fridge, and is even better the next day (and the next, and the next...) My SO is a carnivore and was skeptical about the fact that it has no meat, but he was…

-pours a nice steaming cup of coffee and passes it on over- I love how efficiently you've broken up your journey into mini goals!! I haven't thought about doing that, but there is one number I have been focusing on, and that is 242 - the lowest I have been since I was probably around 16 years old. I hit it about 4 years…

Eastern WA, here. Love it here, it's a lot less rainy than the other side of the state... However, it does get hotter in the summer. Grew up down in southern CA, and my dad is Army so I've moved around a bit with my parents, but I have and always will call WA home. Small world, too. CC, my parents live in Fountain, CO…

Coffee. I do not comprehend how people survive without it. Also, peanut butter lately. Which is strange, because until this month, I only ate it maybe once every 6 months... Now? Can't get enough of the stuff.
