It is kinda impressive you are able to even do that. I have no helpful advice as I don't have that issue so I could only say to stop it...but I know it is not that simple. Good luck man, hope you find some help, bumping your thread in hopes someone useful will come along.

I think you would be hard pressed to find someone who hasn't had a recent experience such as this. Yet, the sun is still shining and life is still good. Time to move on to our next adventure.

You can thank your parents for your genetics. It sucks but it's just the way it is. Your body will just continue to drop weight where it wants until your body fat percentage is low enough to have the midsection you want. For most people the noticeable changes will happen around their limbs. This doesn't mean you are not…

Seriously, no one cares and if they did then they are most likely giving you props bc it means you are working that much harder than them to keep up bc of it. Even the most aesthetically fit people see their own self imposed flaws exponentially larger than those around them.

So just going to throw this out here from personal experience. If you think your runs are suffering due to overall calorie deficit than why not pay closer attention to meal timing and macros? No reason to not have your cake and eat it too.

How much weight loss did you see during the week of your cleanse? Possibly your body may be upticking your water retention if it dropped way too low during your cleanse. That is what usually happens with the low carb crowd when they glance in the direction of a carb after they "dropped" fat.

A few years down the road you will probably look back and think: Wow, remember x years ago when things were so simple and stress free. Buck up man, life won't slow down until you are dead.

If you want that weight off for your trip then look-up the "3 day military diet" If you follow it once a week until your trip (really follow it) then I guarantee you will have that weight off and probably a few more by the time you go on your trip. Feel free to weight yourself every morning when you are doing it if you…

Just a side note: if the test will be conducted outdoors and you are just training on the treadmill, you might be REALLY screwed when test day comes. Do you have access to a track anywhere? Running 400s (one lap) once a week is a great way to up some speed bc it will force your body to get used to running at the pace you…

It is entirely possible and I've had great success doing so following some strict rules BUT this ^^^ right there Tells me that this is going to end very badly for you once you attempt it.

Bad fitting running shoes will cause you to be at the doctor far more times than getting your rocks off with a 20 buck hooker.

The shot will literally not directly do any of those things they are advertising. You will get some pep from the Vit B cocktail that COULD result in you feeling more lively to do more activity that in turn COULD result in metabolism increase because you would be burning more calories as you body does more things. This in…

Some things that helped me: 1. Break the distance down to smaller portions and concentrate on those. Like concentrate on just 4 mile sections in your head then move on as you progress. It is really defeating to think, well, I've got 16 more miles to go. Instead think, I've got 2 more miles to go in this section. Then move…

I think you are over analyzing this. You don't need to do it quickly either, just comfortably and not intentionally slow. Just Good quality diaphragm driven breaths.
-
I don't think it would do any damage but I imagine that could really slow you down. When you exhale you are getting rid of the carbon dioxide. Not sure why you would want to do that slowly as that will just delay time to get more oxygen in to feed your muscles from the inhale exchange.

Don't do this while you are running. Yoga or some other thing then sure. Just don't when you are running.

1. Don't try to JUST breathe out of your nose. At first inhale from both but put emphasis on air coming in through your nose and out your mouth. Notice when you put emphasis on inhaling with your nose then your stomach pushes down and out further through your stomach. Now just breath in with your mouth and you feel your…

2 quick little hacks 1. Make sure to keep your head up, looking forward. If your head drops then it restricts your pathways to pull oxygen in and makes you go into oxygen debt sooner. 2. Look up and read about chest breathing vs stomach (or belly) breathing. You may not be using your lungs to their full potential. Most…

We did not become the top predator on this planet by sitting on our *kitten* all day like we do now. 1 hour cardio everyday is a cake walk for your bodies potential. Just don't go run a ultramarathon every day of the week and you will be fine.

Meh, bad runs happen. Just don't let it get into your head and ruin your runs going forward. With your back it could honestly be anything. You could have just slept on it wrong. Who knows. It would be time to worry if you find a pattern in the pain with your running. If you absolutely have a breakdown during this low…

so buy a running stroller? If you can afford it than a Bob is a way to go. If you cannot then you can find a babytrend for less than 100 bucks from craigslist.

Absolutely realistic. Jump into it and have fun with your training and enjoy the journey.

Welcome back to another day in the life of the general diet and weight loss help forum. A wonderful place where all logic, physics, and personal honesty come to die.

If you ever find a legal and non prescription drug that doesn't say "blah blah blah....with proper diet and exercise" on the bottle then let the rest of the world know that you found a miracle pill.

Protein powder does not really make you gain or loose weight. It is simply a product that is great for helping you hit your protein macros while keeping your caloric intake relatively low. For example, compare it to another super food. Like an egg. So you have a protein shake that is roughly: 120 cals 24 g of protein You…

I have nothing important to add but wow, the nostalgic feels from the gif......brings tears to my eyes.

Most people in my industry do not have very good experience with just the cert type people. Don't get me wrong, there are some really awesome people with just certs out there but the majority of them cannot hack out a day of quality work. In fact most people with just certs never really make it past HR bc they do not meet…

Possibly a situation was going down that you just walked into and interrupted. Maybe he was trying to politely tell you that they needed a bit more privacy at that moment? You possibly just walked in on them having a small fight or something. I'm not trying to be offensive here but "intimidating" is just not a word I would…

The gaining weight piece is going to be related to food consumption but also considerations for fluid retention when you are pregnant. They will tell you not to start anything vigorous that you haven't already been training your body to do pre-pregnancy. I would think that your safest way not to gain too much too fast…

My jaw has hit the ground and stayed there as I read more and more post about people drinking a 12 pack a day. Even more than two or three a day? How do you people still have teeth or make it through a day without passing a kidney stone? Just ....whatthehell? That's like over 500 mg of caffeine a day. Mind blown.
