"Studying for finals..." Okay, I'm actually just watching The Boondocks.

I love putting it in oatmeal or Greek yogurt.

Yes... well I live in a college campus. It happens a lot.

Stay and examine.. that map?

Of course you can still party. I normally take 500 calories out from the day to allot to alcohol consumption. I'll mostly take shots, and I'll only allow myself like 1-2 mixed drinks. [I hate beer - and it's pretty high in calories - so if I were you, I'd try to avoid it.]

I was able to lose weight while still partying during my freshman year. I made sure to stick to a calorie deficit during the week. On weekends, I'd take out around 300 calories from my normal intake and "save" it for alcohol, and I'd only take shots. Apparently, some people have issues with eating crap while drunk, but…

Mine is 105 lbs at 5'1.

I usually weigh in every day even though I shouldn't... I get so depressed if the scale is up by even .2 lbs.
-
LMAO THIS.

I'm 5'1. Add me! :)

I go alone because none of my friends lift on a regular basis. I like working out alone anyway.
-
Are you counting your calories?
-
The only thing you need for weight loss is a caloric deficit. You do not need to exercise.

Correlation does not imply causation.

Nope, I can't stand eating breakfast. Meal timing doesn't matter when it comes to weight loss.
-
I'm sure everyone can set aside 30-60 minutes to exercise. It doesn't even have to be every day. 3 days a week is a good start. If you have time to watch TV or sit in front of your computer, you have time to work out.

Never. I would honestly throw up if I knowingly ate an insect.

Since when does free weights = men's area? And at my gym, men don't receive ridicule for attending group fitness classes.
-
Hopefully, I will be at my goal weight.. with some significant strength gains in my main lifts.

Eat breakfast? Drink coffee? I wake up hungry in the mornings, but that hunger is gone after about an hour. I'm not a fan of breakfast, so I'll normally just drink coffee or tea.

I don't tell people I'm trying to lose weight because all they say is, "OMG you don't need to lose weight!" I heard somewhere that when you tell others you are going to start doing something (ie. losing weight, exercising every day), you are actually less likely to accomplish that goal. I'm not sure if it's true or not,…

I make sure to hit my protein macros first. Any leftover calories go to whatever I want. Of course, I will fit in a couple servings of fruits and veggies for the fiber and vitamins. But if I'm craving junk food, I'll eat it.

I think he was just trying to be helpful because he saw that you were struggling. Maybe he could have worded it differently though. You shouldn't be self-conscious in the weight room. Most of the men don't even care that you're there, and they'll pretty much just leave you alone.

Slowly increase your calories, starting from 1200 and going up to your maintenance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHHzie6XRGk
