Hey there, you've probably heard of zucchini--but you probably know it as a cougette  You mentioned pot noodles and that made me think of mug shots! Not that great for you but delish! I lived in the UK for about a year and totally miss it! Start slow and add some veggies into stuff you know you like--if you hide…

No worries. A blender could be your best friend. One of the veggies I still don't really enjoy is cauliflower but some people on this site have posted a recipe for pizza crust made from cauliflower and cheese--I must admit I am intrigued! Good luck with trying out some new foods!

I have to ask but when was the last time you tried fruit and veggies? I was a hopeless picky eater when I was younger and only learned to like many vegetables after I went to university. It's been a few years since then but I definitely eat way more fruits and veggies now. If you aren't sure about trying them on their own…

mandarin oranges, red peppers, cucumber & zucchini

I've definitely found myself doing this too. Not so much out of fear of running out of calories however. One of my biggest challenges is avoiding mindless eating in the evenings--so I typically have a larger dinner and a small snack with an aim to stop eating by 8PM (which is about 2 hours before I usually head to bed). So…

Hummus with some whole wheat pita and some veggie sticks!

I'm not religious either but for the last few years have given something up both to test my willpower (I don't have much) and to help myself appreciate certain things more when I do have them. This year I'm giving up chocolate and anything deep fried--so after Easter I will probably find myself desperately wanting a Boston…

Take your measurements! They will help give you some indication of your progess as well. In the first two weeks I managed to lose a total of 3" all over--and all you need is a tape measure and a little patience ;)

wow--good for you!

I'm just outside Edmonton. I walk to work and back everyday and needless to say this morning it was not a pleasant walk!
-
Made me smile ;) Thanks!

I don't like cauliflower but I think I have to try this!

Bump

Bump! Definitely going to try this when I hit a plateau. Thanks for posting ;)

You look great! I can't wait until I'm down almost 20lbs! And only in two short months too--that's fantastic!

I decided a long time ago that I'd rather chew my calories than drink them. I drink tea or coffee occasionally (no milk), and juice on occasion but more water than anything. I've never really been a soda drinker and I can't get over how much some people I know regularly drink!

I was told that would be the first place I would lose--and I am very heavy up top--when I was previously at about 130 lbs I didn't really lose any cup sizes--I seem to store fat more in my lower body. I wish I could lose a couple of cup sizes though--it would make finding bras way easier.

I'm 5'0" and I am working toward 115

Some delicious ideas here. I did my grocery shopping today and got a chicken on sale, so into the oven it went! I had roasted chicken with herbs and roasted zucchini, red pepper and onion. It was delicious.

I like to add a little low cal/low fat Italian salad dressing, chopped red onion and red pepper to a can of water packed tuna--it's good on crackers or in a sandwich!

Alberta Canada ;)

That does sound delish! Bump!

Great photos and congrats! I'm in the Edmonton area and have been considering doing photos when I get to my goal--I'll have to consider that photographer!
